Do you not know the long history of blacks and America? What reason would we have to love it. We didnt have the "you can be what you wanna be" in the 40s and 70s we only recently are getting out of mass incarceration in the late 90s and early 2000s.... we are in 2020 and still have rebel flags and ppl yelling at us calling us nigger. Police brutality is too common.
Also you have ppl who where born in the 40s and 50s who are hella racist still around teaching the younger gen and doing what they always have....
What ppl forget it tho we can move freely and say what we want this freedom is still with its limits and you still aren't looked at as equal from a large portion of the white community. Think about slavery till now and think about when we as blacks once had a moment's peace without the white man messing with us or creating laws to punish us.
We hate this reality we've been forced into and tho yes it is not as bad as the parents and grand parents before us it's still not the ideal life we strive for.

America has taught us that violence is the only way we can get our voices heard. And it's honestly true. Peaceful protest does nothing but anger whites, as they think protesting things like racism and police brutality is the same as protesting America.

Good. Protesting peacefully doesn't work. This country was founded on a series of riots and violent protests. If we relied on peaceful protest, we'd still be getting sprayed with fire hoses and attacked by police dogs while we sing "we will overcome". MLK was cool, but I prefer people like Stokely Carmichael who famously said "all the scared niggers are dead".
