females tend to be more social, that's why they follow trends and so on. They put social status ona high priority, the more popular they are the more safe and justified they feel.
They all "look" and "act" the same because they're part of a clique, move to a different town or area and you will see they're the same but in a different way.
I knew and talked to a girl who was a neet for a few years back then, she played vidya and watched anime, then essentially it turned out she's just a failed normie. Yet she didn't knew any obscure or more subcult of any of those. She followed only popular titles because those were, well, popular. This is why I think females can't be anything else but normies. They enter a subculture, interest group, only to feel justified in that group and show they can gain social status easily.

Because women's lives consist entirely of them trying to fit in and increase their standing within greater society or some kind of smaller clique. That's it. They have no greater aspirations or desires, nothing else takes precedence over that.
There are some mentally fucked up women that were abused as kids or whatever, but they're rarer and you still usually find them following the same kind of logic. They attach themselves to an abusive boyfriend, or their gang of drug buddies or something instead.

Very true, but women are not as aware of this as men are. Their reproductive prerogative is to acquire the most high quality mate that they can. They see being ostracized by other women to the point in which they can only acquire male friends as effectively destroying their ability to acquire a high quality male.
Both sexes seek social status and believe it's apart of the attraction process. Notice how the most popular girl in school is the one all of the guys fawn over and all of the women wish they could be. Women take notice of the male attraction towards the "high quality" woman.
Men's sexuality is rather malleable when it comes to whichever sex they're attracted to. However, women are also not aware of this and don't believe unless they're the exact brand of Stacey a male wants that he'll never go for her or be satisfied. When told otherwise they assume it's males lying to not look bad.
