I may not be making these threads as much, I get burned out a lot
I'm just recording MIDI stuff on Ableton, wondering where the track might go next. I started with the string staccato chords at the beginning, then looked for a melody, then a transition with the piano / harp / pizzicato, then felt like adding a Russian dance thing, etc. I tend to make music like this but it's probably less coherent than if I would have taken the time to actually write it in notation.
