It's reference to how, at age 35, women's ability to produce healthy children begins to plunge dramatically.
It's something like, from age 35-37, their odds of having a healthy child go from 80-100%, down to 20-40%.
By the time they reach age 40, it's down somewhere like 5-15%.
In my opinion, If a woman is over the age of 40, it's unethical for her to attempt to have children.

She's trying to have a child by age 35, well having a child means having a very stable, solid, trusting relationship
Relationships like that take years to make. Some as quick as 2 years, but let's be realistic and say 3-4.
But you don't just start *in* a relationship. It also takes time to date, and find the right person. Let's say, another 1-2 years.
That gives us a range of 4-6 years to build a relationship that can support family.
Suddenly she realizes she has to start NOW, and proceed with zero failures along the way.

As for looks, there's some relativity to it. I've been collecting data on people's ratings on /soc/ and comparing them to each other and my own opinion, and there's clearly a large variable of subjective taste.

For me personally, I can recognize a 9 or 10 as attractive, but I find them a little off-putting, like maybe they look dumb or phony. Whenever I look at a batch of girls, my favorite is always a 6 or 7.

This meme is true for some individuals, but the fact is that on a societal level it is completely wrong. All of those women still have hundreds of men DROOLING over them, and they are not high value women at all. There is nothing wrong with men wanting at least a 5/10. None of those people in that image are that high.

Fat - should lose weight, I did (very slowly and making no real effort, but did, 89 kg to 78 kg in a year or so)
31 - Maybe, depends on her history, but then again, I'm 33.
Single mom - no deal, I don't have baggage from past relationships, nor kids.
