I always read about ISFJ's having good social skills and whatnot, but does anyone have any experience with ISFJ's that are more shy or introverted than normal? I'm the type where I haven't made any new friends in about 6 or 7 years because I won't go out of my way to talk to anyone. Also, I feel like I'm the only male who is an ISFJ. No one I've ever met is similar to me personality-wise.

By your standard, an INFJ should seek another INFJ. I mean, imagine being with someone that uses your polar function as a tool function (INFJs use Fe, INTJs polar. INTJs use Te, INFJs polar), two INFJs would also still share being an Ni-dom.

And ESTPs can also have deep conversations, in fact, they can really ONLY tacke intuitive stuff by going into it, since their Ne is so weak. ESTPs may not prefer deep convosz but a grown ESTP can very well have them, and will even seek them as they grow older (because of inferior Ni)

I think you're confused about what I meant by Ni connection. The best part about it is the things you don't have to discuss. I don't think Ni is purely about discussions either.

By this standard, that you like being around people who have your shadow functions, the ideal for an INFJ should be an ENFP, or another delta.

In the upper post, what said that types like each other because they share functions, and now youre also saying they can be ideal by having eachothers shadow functions.

It seems a bit wierd that the shadow there is this mix in easy communication, and then relying on eachother shadow functions.

I somewhat say the same about the ESTP taking care of the INFJs weak points. The ESTP can take care of Se and Fe, while the INFJ can take care of Ni and Fe. Also, since they share the same functions, they can also improve eachothers two lower functions, since they seek to improve those. Meanwhile an INFJ and an INTJ cant improve eachothers weak functions

I am a male ISFJ and the sole reason why I stopped being shy/introverted so much is because I suffered while not dating anyone. The quality of life difference between being a loner and having even a shitty partner was massive. Like said, developing your Ti and Ne is a great idea.

I developed my Ne by deciding to get more input from outside but making sure I have as many known boundaries as possible, e.g. "I am doing this new thing because I am interested in X and it could go wrong because of Y and Z".

For Ti, I can't really help you. I think I've developed by being stuck in an SiTi loop for most of my teenage years.
