I'm around mostly because of glitch riding but also because of brick battling. I've been on this game since 2011 so I've seen quite a lot.
what are some good games to play?
2008 user myself
it's still a decent enough base for games, but i think it lost a lot of the charm that made it roblox back in the day. it lost the lego aspect.
only brick battle shit i enjoy are classic ones like doomspire or like the official roblox maps like crossroads.
i'm still around on there because i'm a fucking lego loving autist and the nostalgia still gets me even though it's changed so much. i still like playing obbys and the occasional unique game that grabs my interest.
are you some kind of faggot? i want games where i can kill people.
Killing is against the rules of roblox.
For me I'm rather bored with most games on the site; the only ones that stand out to me are games involving gears that allow for me to glitch ride or brick battle.
Here's some games I would recommend involving those things I like:
Brick Battle:
- Crossroads (The one by the group known as Temple of Brickbattle)
- Chaos Canyon (Also by the same group)
I would also suggest Glor's Brick-Battle but as of now it appears he has it in a limited state
Glitch Riding:
- Motorcycle Madness
- My game but I don't want to self-advertise
- I would suggest Island Life: Paradise but that game got banned..
- Rooftop Bike Obby

Yeah I agree, Roblox has done quite a lot to allow people to make a living on it though sadly it did lose quite a bit of the charm in the process.

there's no private server/revival that uses an old enough client for my taste either, faggot ass finobe only goes back to 2012.
Well BC only games don't really exist anymore given that BC is dead, so that's one less problem I guess.

i've played my fair share of super nostalgia zone, but it seems that the game isn't all that populated at times. i end up accidentally bullying people out of brickbattling on there and then i have nobody left to play with.
it also sucks that it's just a small variety of games, i do play it from time to time though!

Well there is "Brick Hill" however last I check it's still rather limiting.

life is not the greatest for me now, so i like the escapism of kinda putting myself back in my 9 year old head, if even just while i play some old ass lego game for a while.
Never played it. Recently a soccer mom asked me what kinda game it is because her 7 yo's have been hooked to it

Minecraft and Roblox are rather different, primarily in the art-style and games you can make. Roblox is more advanced in building and games than Minecraft.
However given that this is a 7 year old and I don't think she would be interested in building as of now... Well, I mean there are games that are rather heavily monetized but quite a bit of the front page games don't really do that, and most of them seem innocent enough.
I'd say you made the wrong choice, though I would've also advertise that she should be "watching" just in case like a responsible parent.

that's true, the escapism is nice from time to time, and with the current virus scare going on it's a much needed escape.

Joined in 2011, stopped playing in 2016. I remember the good old days. No filter, tix exchange rate was 10:1, personal servers, stamper tool, no app-store tier games page, forums were more interesting. Then shit just got progressively worse and worse.
