Ah, well if that's the case you're pretty good to go. Honestly for those kinds of purposes, more RAM and an older GPU probably would have served you better.
Mhm, RAM has never been ZIF like CPU sockets are, you need to make sure it's a snug fit.
good job user building a pc for the first time is a pretty cool feeling
>i have to use linux cos i am poor
i think linux is better anyways.
linix is a pretty cool guy but its givin me problems because its not fitting my display right
yeah feels good man
for sure, but i feel now that i know what to expect, my next builds will be more easier :D maybe i will make a small itx-sized build as a media center for my home, with popcorn time or leonflix or something
i have college email but i am finished school, did you think i could still maybe get windows? good specs brother
where from?
I've bought a couple from ebay, just check it has good reputation.
You can also try scdkey, some tech youtubers have discount promo codes (I don't remember any at the top of my mind)
I'm interested in an ITX build myself, but I'm concerned about heat. Would probably have to go with something low powered if I really want to take advantage of those tiny cases.
Waiting for the summer for an upgrade myself, at least getting an idea of what I want. 4th gen Ryzen is supposed to be coming out, and perhaps the next gen Nvidia cards as well.
update: ucuntu is installed, running minecraft without a sweat on full settings
i dont play that many games but im relieved to see my favorite game, minecraft, can be enjoyed in full for the first time
running mc on my thinkpad was unbased
You buy keys for 5 usd on ebay dude. They're legit, created using a loophole in EU regulation. Pirating isn't worth it.
>i have to use linux cos i am poor
you literally could have converted a pirated 7 into a legitimate 10 even 2 years ago
