If you have been friends with her for a long tome then she should not think anything bad about it user. Its more about if you immediately open up to some girl that you do not know and also how you go about it. I would not worry about it in your case. Also you never know if something will go somewhere without trying but I will say sometimes it is better to keep a girl as a friend then to pursue something else. If you have a relationship and it goes to shit you will not only have a broken heart but lose a good friend. But do not let that discourage you if you do want to pursue her. It just depends on how you feel about her. I have friends that are girls that I have been close to for over a decade and we are open books to each other. Well if I am to point a weakness, ive always been a very clingy person I belive. This happened in friendships too. In highschool I was an introvert, and relied on people to initiate the convo first. This made me have a few select friends, so I rode off their coattails and really depended on them for company and being introduced to others. I belive that's what ruined some of my friendships because I cared about them too much more than they cared about me.
My biggest fear is doing the same to a girl in a relationship, and finding out she actually doesn't care as much as I care about her. Its almost like Id want an insecure gf, because that way I could trust her and I would know she would rely on me. This is a bad trait I have?

I never really had any women show investment into my life, like texting me a lot, texting me first, initiating the friendship. In a way I think it fucks with me because since I never had a woman do this, I became attracted to her and its messing with me knowing that's just how she is. I'm fairly confident she isn't attracted to me, but I caught feelings because no chick ever seemed to care that much about my life as she did.
In the end, I'm just praying to Jesus Christ that he sends me a woman when its right, and till then I'm just gonna keep this friendship and improve myself.
