Let's have a thread on insecurities regarding our appearance.
>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? >Do you think you can change them? >How do these insecurities affect your life? >Any advice to give?
For me, I know I'm not 'ugly' exactly, but just painfully average. And what I could do to change these insecurities takes a lot of time and patience, e.g. growing my hair out. I feel like I'm not worthy enough for anyone to even interact with because of how I look. People will always judge you based off of appearance, and I am much too insecure to disregard what others think. I don't want to be attention seeking, but I want to be seen as beautiful because of the endless benefits that come with it. I don't think there's anyone on earth that would genuinely find me beautiful. No one has even called me ugly, but I just refuse to believe that people complimenting me are honest. I have no self-confidence, and I don't know what to do about it. Social media has made this a lot worse for me.
I have psoriasis on my face My immune system doesnt even like me
Isaiah Miller
Man tits from puberty. The kind that don't go away from diet and exercise despite what my dad told me when I got them. If anything all the chest exercise just made them perky and stand out more. Would have to have surgery to be rid of them, which I ain't realisticly getting. I just wear baggy shirts that don't draw attention to them and avoid ever being topless around other people.
The other thing I am insecure about is my super bad dandruff if I don't really scrub my scalp every two or three days. Seen doctors about it but the stuff they gave me for it doesn't even work. Only thing that works is being super regular about washing my scalp even if it is damaging to my hair.

Still have some slight acne occasionally. Although I managed to cure the worst of it by completely removing dairy from my diet. Dairy (mainly milk) caused all of my acne and made my teenage years hell.
Gabriel Campbell
>dairy
Do you think yogurt could contribute to acne? How about foods with a little milk in, like biscuits or whatever, did you completely cut those out too?
Levi Lee
Yes yoghurt is completely dairy bro. I saw huge improvements after cutting out all milk (drank milk everyday), ice cream, yoghurt and cheese in food. See results in 2 weeks to a month. I still occasionally eat foods with small amounts of dairy in them eg. chocolate, but I'm in the process of eliminating these completely as well as I suspect they are causing the last of my acne. Acne is genetic though so I probably am stuck with some regardless of what I eat. But cutting out the aforementioned dairy products brought great results for me.

Cold showers get rid of dandruff if you dont want to take a cold shower let cold water run through your hair at least. Also get a spray bottle and fill it up with some tea tree oil some shit thats good for your hair + water and spray your hair 2-3 times a day. Just stay away from hot or warm water with your hair itll get better. You washing your scalp often is giving you more dandruff since youre hydrating for the moment but stripping your hair in the long run.

Not sure where to start but always hated my physical appearance. Even as a kid found myself unlovably ugly. Overweight, still got ache at 26, my face looks weird, idk how to explain it, but long as I can remember looking in a mirror was always uncomfortable, didn't like what I saw, even hated it. I gave up a long time ago on my apperence, because what's the point? Even if lost the weight, cleared up ache, I'm so uncomfortable with my physical appearance I'll still hate it. I've never been in a relationship probably won't ever, not only because these strong deep insecurities, but also rather avoidant in general and seeking of solitude. Only thing I like us my hair. It's healthy, thick, and no receding hairline. Used to have long nice hair but because my job have to keep it short and hate it.

>>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? >A long face, big nose, high hairline, small lips, slight acne, small tits >>Do you think you can change them? Not really. I've done everything I can for the acne and gotten bangs. >>How do these insecurities affect your life? I'm sad. >>Any advice to give? No.

Thanks man, I think I'll try this. I feel like I've had the same skin for years, as in, my acne has literally never changed. Hasn't gotten worse, hasn't gotten better. It feels like all the random red spots on my face are stuck there and don't move at all. Idk. Acne is weird and I hate it.
Leo Butler
Np bro it completely ruined my life and confidence for years as well. I was so mad when I realized that drinking milk drinks every day was exacerbating it so much. All the cystic red spots are completely gone now I don't drink milk anymore. I found this out through researching online, supposedly lots of people claim milk/dairy caused their acne as well. As I said acne is likely genetic anyway, I still get occasional spots but very infrequently and no where near as bad as when I was consuming dairy. Hope yours clears up too brother. All those skin care routines are complete bs, its all in what you eat In my opinion.

>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? Pretty much every thing. Only thing I kinda like is my eyes, they're hazel. But then I had to be extremely near-sighted. I couldn't have one thing I liked about myself.
Bald(ing) Cross eyed Long narrow face, big lips, potato nose. Fucked up teeth Manlet Hairy (body) Bit of the good old mantits, thankfully not the droopy kind. Just the kind that could BTFO some A cup chestlet with it's perkiness and firmness. Chubby (have been fatter) Always been insecure about my penis size (statistics say it's above average, I say women don't give a fuck about statistics and will laugh and cheat on me)
I'm this insecure mess and I'm a 32 year old man. Which only makes me even more insecure.
Sebastian Foster
I nearly wrote a reply but I got nervous about mod reading my post history. What I will say is I look about 14 despite being 22.
Lincoln Cox
surprise surprise i was always a loner type kid whatever but i hat that im tall. when I see photos my myself i just wanna fucking cringe because im just suck a stick. i wanna be small
Jack Bennett
>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? Well, I have pectus carinatum which means that my ribcage/chest looks like something out of an alien movie. Pic related, mine isn't as bad though. You can probably figure out that most people think it looks hideous. >Do you think you can change them? Well, I can live with this thing and that's enough for me. >How do these insecurities affect your life? I just don't want extra attention drawn to myself so I kinda avoid swimming in public beaches, tight fit t-shirts etc. Of course, I used to worry about what girls would think of this, but I don't really care about relationships anymore. >Any advice to give? No.
> height and dick size mainly > lol no > its a constant reminder that I will never get to make a female happy, so its the main source of why I have never asked a girl out > focus on getting wealth, because a female will forgive you one of these, but not both
Isaiah Sanchez
Psoriasis, eczema and a lazy eye. A couple of hairy moles too but I like em, heard that they don't heal if they open.
William Rivera
>I'm too short, too fat, and my weiner is too small. >I can lose weight but I'm forever stuck at 5 foot 7 with a 5 inch weiner. >They have kept me from over pursuing a relationship with a woman because I know she wont find me physically attractive and wont be satisfied by my weiner. Any advice to give? >Leave Yas Forums. Be a normie.
>>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? I have a mild form of Alopecia areata (hair loss), so I have extreme thin/almost no eyebrows, eyelashes and some bald places on my legs. Hair on my head is normal and I am lucky that my face/body is ok, people say I'm a 6-7/10 in general.
>>Do you think you can change them? It's an illness and I can't change it
>>How do these insecurities affect your life? in my youth sometimes people who hated me made jokes about that but it was not too bad in general. Since I finished school no one talked to me about it.
>>Any advice to give? If you have problems with bullying about your looks - wait until people grow up. try to stand over it, these times pass.
Jonathan Powell
Acne scars mostly mostly genetics too father had it well into his 30s
Christian Garcia
Insecurities >skinny >extremely hairy legs Do I think you can change them? I always get told not to shave legs because i'd be a faggot. But that's always coming from people that barely grow hair. I'm caveman tier hairy. As for being skinny, I'd have to go on a diet and eat a lot but I don't have the discipline to do that. The amount of available resources online for bulking are burden for me because I don't know how to assess what's a good choice and what isn't.
How do they affect me? >don't go to the pool/beach in the summer >don't take photos ever (too bony) >feel off whenever a girl has meatier arms than me (most of the time).
Any advice? Whenever someone on soc posts a photo of themselves and they get erratic ratings, I always tell them to pay attention to the ratings that they get from only those people that they'd want to fuck/be in a relationship with. Similarly, what kind of person are you trying to attract? If you do not wish to be an e-thot and have people drooling over you from you posting "quirky" photos, that is okay. >I refuse to believe that people complimenting me are honest When you hear it from someone that is special to you, that will make you believe it. Though, it is nice to know your value when assessing who that special someone is. By your general vernacular you seem right of mind so I would honestly not worry about your own appearance too much, your personality matters far more, but if you do wish to make yourself more appealing, maybe try developing a more "cutesy" demeanor.
How short is your hair?
Elijah Reyes
>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? Plenty, but nothing terribly interesting. >Do you think you can change them? Mostly exercise, but I feel most self conscious about my face and baldness. Can't fix that. >How do these insecurities affect your life? Not too much. I lack some confidence around women, but I'm rarely in a position to flirt. >Any advice to give? Move on and do your own thing. I accepted who I am a while ago and decided to focus on things other than pussy. It does get lonely, but a fap gets rid of it
Josiah Ross
>When you hear it from someone that is special to you, that will make you believe it.
Heh, I wish. Someone very special to me compliments my appearance a lot, I still just can't believe it. My hair is shoulder length, which isn't that short, but I still hate it. Thank you for your kind response anyway, user.
Henry Phillips
>>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? my big, crooked nose >>Do you think you can change them? of course, with a shit load of money >>How do these insecurities affect your life? isolated, lonely, low self esteem since people made fun of it for being big when i was younger >>Any advice to give? i don't know
Jose Moore
Lose weight you fat fuck. And get a penis pump or try Jelqing. Unless you are measuring bone pressed you will end up with a bit more visible dick as you lose weight.
Christopher Reyes
>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? height (5'9") smallish penis (very small flaccid) 1" flaccid, 6" normal covered in stretch marks on back/stomach (used to be fat) small hands, smallish feet chubby - carry all weight in stomach vitiligo (skin discoloration) on groin feel I'm not physically strong enough
>Do you think you can change them? most of these are genetic. I cannot change my height, any skin issues (vitiligo), or the size of my body parts. My body weight I can control though. I will always genetically store more body fat in my stomach, except at ridiculously low bf % (8-10% is when I start to thin out). I feel like I am physically weak, but I am not. >How do these insecurities affect your life? I've never bothered approaching women due to not having any self-confidence. That is moreso down to how I feel about my personality than my appearance though. My appearance is not an asset I take pride in. No women have really approached me (a few rare instances that I was probably oblivious to), so I take that as an indication of my not being physically attractive. I avoid being naked in front of other people due to having a small willy. Don't feel like explaining vitiligo (immune system hates itself and kills melanin producing cells), stretch marks.
I lift a lot and restrict my calories to stop myself from becoming obese like I was in late college. I was adverse to lifting at gyms at first due to not wanting to embarrass myself (due to feeling physically weak despite being athletic - did sports all my life through high school). I still struggle to get over that self-consciousness.
>Any advice to give? Realize that no one gives a shit about how much you lift at the gym. Everyone starts somewhere. You should only focus on your personal progress, but you will inevitably compare yourself to others.
Juan Gomez
>Big nose Ok this would actually be a deal breaker for me >long faces Long faces are alright. If it really makes you insecure get square glasses, they optically shorten your face >small lips Nobody is actually into those massive bimbo lips, you just let the media get to you >slight acne Define slight, if they're little bumps here and there that you can only notice if you touch, most guys (or girls, if you're a lezzy) couldnt care less if you have a little. Same thing goes if you have big ones but only here and there >Small tits Again, you let the media get to you. Plenty of guys who like girls part of the itty bitty titty commitee.
Luis Davis
if your height and your dick are the only things keeping you from a woman, then you need to man the fuck up. Keep trying until you get one
Julian Allen
you could go on a calorie intense diet.
Jeremiah Sanders
I'm 6ft 6in, but only 75kg. I'm a lanklet and you can count my ribs and vertebrae from 10 feet. I'm not very active and I eat as much as a family of three. I don't have the standard attractive "broad shoulders". My face is asymmetric and my eyes are widely spaced. I have tiny ears too. Due to nasal polyps my nose is blocked 24/7, so I can't breathe through it, I have to hang my mouth slightly open to breathe.
Benjamin Wilson
>>What are some insecurities you have about your appearance? my self harm scars. I regret harming myself so much.
>>Do you think you can change them? Apparently you can get surgery, but I'd only do that if I was rich. tattoos are off the table completely
>>How do these insecurities affect your life? well, I had to throw out all of my t-shirts because they'd show my scars. it's okay though, I just wear baggy t-shirts that cover them (there are some on my upper arm)
>>Any advice to give? none really, people harm themselves for different reasons. i'd just say before harming yourself, remember that what you're about to do will stay there for the rest of your life and that's not a nice feeling
Eli Bell
I have no insecurities about my physical body, it's all mental. If I wasn't a mentalcel I'd be a chad.
Matthew Murphy
>hairline >circumcised >uneven ribs >brown >stretchmarks i have good facial structure tho
