what was going on with ciara. why did she do heroin? why was she doing fent? etc.

Ciara tried to convey that she was alright, but once an addict always an addict, at her core she didn't truly change, she was still making the same mistakes, but she tried to stop hurting people.
She kept hurting herself with the drugs and the promiscuity, and overall still stayed the same degenerate I guess.
That being said she wasn't stealing, manipulating or deceiving people anymore, at least I don't think she was, her bad choices only hurt her in the end.
She did more drugs because she never stopped being addict, she went overboard because she was suppressing herself for too long.
Of course these are just my opinions and the events I observed, if you or anyone else has different opinions or knows better than me, I understand I might be wrong, this is just my personal opinion as to what happened based on my understanding of the situation.
What I can say for sure is that she did not want to die, she really did think things would be better.
