Highly recommend Steven universe. I thought it was tumble sjw bullshit for years but I gave it a shot and It unironically brought a lot of joy into my life and taught me a lot about myself. Try being a little open minded guys.

Same. I'm an "oldfag" that's been around here since 2007, and Steven Universe actually made me realize how real Yas Forums groupthink is. It had 100% convinced me that it was SJW trash. The show itself is very innocent and wholesome. The creator, Rebecca Sugar, is a bit of an annoying SJW in some personal respects, but she had a genuinely vision that she realized very effectively, imo. I was really touched to learn that she and her brother grew up watching anime together, and he was actually one of the primary background artists of the show, in addition to being the inspiration for Steven himself. The show even inspired me to make my own art.

It's not perfect, but nothing is. The people that bash it without having even watched a few episodes aren't worth listening to.

Absolutely not. I have no problem watching cute shows about friendship to warm my cold heart, but the designs are just horrendous. They either look like fat potatoes, have huge lips and ugly hair, or both. What's the point of animation if you're just gonna make everything painful to watch? The pink girl with twintails actually looks pleasant for example. I guess that's the reason she got so popular. They should really fix the designs because I'd rather start watching MLP than this

SU was good for like 1 season and then immediately began a downward spiral that just kept going until one of the of worst and flaccid endings in animation history. it didnt know if it wanted to be slice of life or have a serious story, characters like the cluster and jasper just get forgotten, rose is an awful person who gets jerked off by the crystal gems, evil space dictators who ruled for maybe eons are easily swayed by some of the worst talk no jutsu ive ever seen, and the lgbt and (shitty) mental illness awareness pandering is so hamfisted. and dont even get me started on the show being 60% anime references and 40% original ideas. your better off watching star vs or literally anything else.
