Call a dentist unoriginallly
You should have unironically have been eating raw eggs. Your issue could have been evaded.
>TFW chipped wisdom tooth 3 or 4 years ago
>No dental insurance so wasn't able to do anything about it
>Eventually stopped hurting
>Little bits would chip off every now again
>Very little of it left
>Literally rotting out of my skull
>Finally see dentist they say that it's almost all gone and they can yank it (It's not causing any real harm)
>Also zero cavities for not seeing a dentist in a long ass time.
Guess I'm lucky?
so you had insurance now?
i still can't afford dentist.
Call a dentist.seriously. not getting help could cost those teeth
i have no job, no insurance.
generally when you have some sort of tooth problem you go see a dentist.
But of course, Americans don't know what public health insurance is so they'll pay themselves into poverty over this.
Yeah I have insurance now, which is why I finally bit the bullet (Pun partially intended) and see what the damage really was in there.
But yeah, the only thing it's directly impacting in my day to day is that sometimes food gets stuck in the hole and I have to dig it out. But it no longer hurts.
you have to go to the dentist, if they're that bad they are probably going to have to pull the tooth/teeth because they can't do anything with it.
youtube.com
look around on cvs if you can find something like that, i dont know if they sell them anymore. google around and see what else you can use to cover your tooth for the time being, apparently you can use sugarless gum.
if you don't have dental insurance you're probably looking at like 100-200 per extracted tooth
Look for any dental schools around you. They may charge a bit but they'll work with you if you don't have insurance. Obviously you'll be getting someone in dental school who will do it.
It's better than nothing.
>suggestions on what to do?
Go to the dentist.
>i have no job, no insurance.
If you can't go to the dentist, well, just live with your chipped teeth.
I've had one of my front teeth chipped since I was 8, I'm now 33, haven't died yet. (and now I have 2 molars almost gone, they cracked in a fist fight I had years ago and started chipping after 2 or 3 years)
Although I am a KHV, may or may not be cause by the chipped teeth.
Generally speaking fixing chipped teeth is rather easy, but you may have to expect some form of cost, something between 100 and 300 Euros a piece.
The cosmetic work is also usually quite good, unless you know what you are looking for you really can't notice it.
You'll likely need an implant if it's really as bad as pic related. If you're lucky, you'll just need a crown.
If you've got dental insurance, go see one of those smaller family practice dentists and ask for an estimate before pulling the trigger.
If you don't have dental insurance, go to a local dentistry school and ask if you can have some students do work on you for a reduced rate.
Sorry, man. Shit sucks.
if you absolutely cannot afford it you're going to have to go to a free dental clinic, google one and see if you can find one in your area. this coronavirus shit may have screwed you though because they might be shut down for the time being
a chipped tooth like the one in the OPs pic isnt fixable because the only way to fix something like that is to put a crown over it, and if there is not enough of the tooth left to glue the crown onto then they can't do anything
well that sucked.
it all started when i was in my late teens, the doc there said i had infections and just drilled two holes. now about 15 years later the only problem i have is with the teeth he drilled. now when people tell me to go to the dentist i can't trust them anymore.
well, while fillings can last forever, they don't always do.
What were you flossing with razor wire.
>tfw I haven't had any dental problems all my adult life, but now that dentists will only undertake serious cases due to covid-19, I have what looks like two cavities and a thick layer of yellowish plaque on one of my front teeth that I can't even scrape off with a needle.
The good news is I'll have a few months to save up to get it fixed
yeah i know that my fillings fell out a long time ago, but i doubt my teeth ever had any problems to start with. i mean why didn't any other of my tooth get infected during these 15 years? i didn't change any brushing habit.
i think the dentist just wanted to charge more
if your fillings fall out you need to replace them.
The teeth that got infected are obviously the ones with the holes in them, because the hole is where the infection happens as you can't clean inside the hole. It is why cavities are a concern. Are you retarded?
Imagine living in a third world for-profit dystopia.
My dad chipped one of my front teeth with a bottle once on accident. I've had a filling for over a decade. They said it'd only last a year or two, so just go for that I guess. I asked a dentist recently and they said it looks like it could last another decade at this rate.
yeah there is a hole because the dentist drilled it. but there is no way to tell if there was any infection.
the moment the dentist gave me fillings he knew i will become a repeating client and have to come back to him every few years. well i never came back.
>I don't trust my doctor to make medical decisions
Then why even go see one for any reason?
Are you genuinely retarded? Or do you live in a dystopian society, where doctors perform procedures just so they can get paid?
i didn't chose to go see him, my parents led me to him. it was more of a check up at the time.
>Or do you live in a dystopian society, where doctors perform procedures just so they can get paid?
yeah i am 29 years old living in canada, and from my life experiences i do view the world this way. the teachers don't give a shit about students. the transit works don't give a shit for being late, and even my parents never give a shit about what i thinks.
You just chipped it just from flossing?
What kinda food does your usual diet consist of?
the real question here hahaha
Leave the chipped pieces for the tooth fairy and see what she can do. She might give you new teeth while you're sleeping. You'll have to fall asleep with your dick out though
Also, what kind of floss was it?
what country do you live in? chipped teeth usually are government covered.
Were in lockdown now so now the dystopia society is showing its self
were you flossing with a fucking cinderblock? what the fuck?
26gauge Steel wire
canada
just normal floss. my teeth was already partially cracked from the fillings that fell off.
