While I agree they cant fathom it, I dont think they really have the capacity for any real empathy so they cant give any advice. When people around me die I tend to get really upset by it, naturally, and the normalscum around me, be they coworkers or classmates that all call me a friend, get irritated when one shitty line of advice doesnt instantly pull me out of the depression
They dont put themselves in other people's shoes and just want to solve a problem that's inconvenient for them

You could be the bigger person, and prove them wrong. A lot of these guys have been wronged by many women in their lives. Is it fair for them to hate all women? No, but bullying them and shaming them for having these opinions will only exacerbate these issues. You don't make fun of a child and relentlessly bully them for being afraid of dogs, you show them that there's nothing to be afraid of.

I'm not saying to befriend them all, or to become their savior, just be nice to them. You can't make anyone change, but you can be a reason that somebody changes their outlook. It could take just one positive interaction for them to reevaluate how they treat others. Most of these guys hate women because they've been treated like shit by the women in their lives, and they see women being given preferential treatment in the name of equality, and that raises resentment. It's an easy trap to fall into. Don't be a reason why these men can logically hate women, and little by little the movement disappears.
