Here's a little something I learned about life: most of the time, the truly smart ones are the people who don't go out of their way to show off and proclaim to the world that they are very smart. They don't need other pompous jackasses' approval since they know what they know, and most importantly know what they don't.

You have to lay out the basis of what you define as stupid and smart. For me it's much more than what you can learn in a book or what someone can teach you. It is a state of mind about how you interact and view the world. People that most categorize as stupid tend to follow the crowd and they wear, do, and say whatever is popular at the time just because it is that way. They are typically either more attractive or have more money than the average person and thus do not have to worry about many hardships that most people have to endure. "Smart" people on the other hand are typically the outliers and outcasts from society. They are typically only kept around by "stupid" people as a gimmick and only useful when the "stupid" person needs something. The "smart" one typically has something wrong with them whether that be their looks, personality, or mental and emotional health. I can agree that the "smart" people are generally more aware of how the world works because they have to deal with it in its entirety and they don't have a special shield to help them like the "stupid" people do.

Bottom line is most people on here are my definition of smart so good luck
