Yes, but there are some services that should be socially guaranteed. We all agree to this on some level, I mean unless you're a total anarcho-capitalist or something. People can use roads, call the fire department, and things like if they pay taxes and contribute to the upkeep of those things, because we've determined as a society that those services should be owned by the public. I just think post-secondary education should be added to the list. We already guarantee free education k-12. And nowadays, you often can't get gainful employment with just a high school diploma. So, to take care of our citizens and make sure they can get on in the world we should give them the education they need to get a job. That simple.
You don't need a lamborghini to get by with a decently comfortable life in modern society. As of now, it's a luxury. Education you need to get a job and feed yourself is not a luxury, it's a necessity.
