it's all about calories lad, if you eat 2000 or so calories to maintain and drink whiskey ontop or something then yes, you will gain weight, if you made a deficit of 500 and drank those back you would never gain weight, but thats not healthy, if you went on a walk and burnt 500 then you could eat to maintain and drink the calories back I think, it's all about the numbers lad

my uncle is an alcoholic and he's skinny as a rake because he eats half a meal a day then drinks 10 cans
