I had a friend who was obsessed with this thing, never understood why.

pls don't end it user we

92f is prettier

Did you encryptively defraud it?

You gonna get revenge with that thing?

It's fucking aesthetic
It's too late I am already Italian
I like the non rail look a bit more but the X has more desirable features like a flat or classic hump grip and changeable sights and adjustable trigger

Italiano?
Come l'hai ordinata in sto periodo?

I shot one in Thailand. It was the first time I had ever shot a gun before. It was very difficult to manipulate I thought it would be easier to rack the slide. Is there a technique to it? Do I need to push the handle foward while pulling the slide back? Was it missing oil / lubrication or something? Or did I just underestimate how hard you need to be with these.

Can I borrow it to shoot myself and you come pick it up later?

Nice. I finally bought my first handgun a couple of months ago after debating forever on what I wanted, the Beretta was high on my list but I ended up going CZ instead.

How much pressure does the trigger need? btw i prefer revolver aesthetics, mostly old war era type guns, proper revolution style.

I can't remember how it was on the 92 I shot specifically, but probably you underestimated. if it was too stiff or sticky it would not have cycled the rounds correctly and jammed every shot.

I think everybody is surprised by how much force it takes to pull the slide back the first few times they shoot. You eventually get used to it and figure out how to grip the gun and slide right for the best leverage, and if you really struggle you can do what you mentioned and push forward on the grip instead of pulling back on the slide. A lot of the resistance actually comes from the hammer spring as well, not the recoil spring (the one that pushes the slide), so you can make it quite a bit easier by cocking the hammer first.

Fucking based.
Only thing I have is a crossbow

Probably a dirty gun or you're weak
I handled an SP01. Loved the frame mounted safety. Beaver tail was a bit too much for me personally

Should have gotten a 1911

Yeah, the SP01 beavertail is a bit extreme. I like the one on my 75BD, when you handle one it feels like it might eat your hand under recoil but I haven't had any issues with that on mine. I went with the decocker model instead of the safety, the latter is nice but this gun is kind of multipurpose, mostly a range gun but serving as a home defense gun and occasional carry until I get something else, and I feel more comfortable carrying decocked.

I will eventually. First pistol i shot was a 1911

>9mm
expected from a virgin robot

good taste, that's one of my favorite handguns

18 rounds sounds good to me.

wowies! Good choice, you getting into IDPA? Next handgun imma get is the army m17. It's the one I use at work so might as well practice

My stepdad was a competition handgun shooter so I'd love to try it. I think I have really good hand eye from gaming. That may sound stupid but I think it's proven it helps that. the club I'm in does like beginner stuff for that and major stuff

>slide mounted safety
They make a 92 with a frame safety and you didn't even buy that one. Baaaaaaaaaka.

I pull out my beretta

I'm getting the decocker only model no safety. I can activate it with a firing grip fine even with the larger hump when I tried a 92A1 and FS. Only the performance model of the 92X has a frame safety and I wasn't gonna spend hundreds more on a feature I don't want

I wish I could buy a nice gun like that, but I live in a socialist shithole

Not OP but I'm the CZ guy above and really want to try out some competition stuff. I don't expect to be competitive but it seems fun and should be good training/practice, at least. I think I may end up doing USPSA and not IDPA, though, more of a scene for it locally and I already have friends into it.
