How do homeless women deal with periods?

go out and ask some

in desperate times i've sort of fashioned a pad out of toilet paper. i'd imagine they do something like that.

women young enough to have periods are rarely homeless and those that are have access to charities which provide them

I have 4 guesses.

1. They handle it via freebleeding.
2. They stuff old rags, ripped up shirts, or newspaper in their panties then discard as needed.
3. They buy tampons or pads with their panhandling or prostitution money.
4. They are so unhealthy they don't have periods anymore.

Freebleed away and don't worry about personal hygiene. The stench will help to keep some of the rapists away but not all of them.

you probably dont wanna know man
i was homeless for a bit, shared a spot with a broad one night. woke up and she was squatted pissing about half a metre from my head. this was not a secluded spot, we were on a main road in a nook, visible to the entirety of the rush hour morning folk.
i cannot imagine how raggedy she would have been dealing with a period. probably went inside mcdonalds, got some wadded up tissue, shoved them in her panties and just thrown them in the street after each was saturated

>women young enough to have periods are rarely homeless
That is completely wrong.

Stand naked, bleed and snarl at people that pass by?

Women shelters offer female hygiene products for free. So, only the literally crazy homeless women, wouldn't take advantage of it.

they get them for free from homeless shelters and various charities.

Most of them just steal them.

>t silver spoon dumbass nigger

charities and churches with free sanitary products do exist, but not everyone has access to those in their area. Using rolled up gas station toilet paper or being too malnourished is more likely.

All 4 are correct. Women's shelters and hospitals will also provide free pads and tampons whenever they're available. Sometimes they're really hard to come across though.

Women shouldn't have to pay for tampons and pads.

If you fold toilet paper into a V shape, you can sit it between the folds of labia and itll stay in place with underwear.
I have done this many times, not homeless though

I have literally never in my life seen a young homeless woman.

wow why doesn't everyone do that seems like it would be cheaper

no its not you fuckin simp. most people regardless of gender are not homeless

some women bleed a lot, toilet paper isn't that absorbent

could they just bleed less?

Stepped over a 30-something homeless lady in hollywood once

is this a joke or are you retarded? honest question

I'm not a woman
I know that there are ways to control some bodily functions
like if I had diarrhea I could improve my bowel movements by eating differently
is there a way for women to do that too?

I dont know, its 50/50 if I do that if I'm honest.
The only downside is the paper can be drying and because its right up against inner skin it can irritate and obviously using public toilet paper is gross. I've never leaked with it. I did this with my last period.

No user, that is not how that works at all.
Maybe with medication but that itself holds a bunch of different issues

doesnt birth control stop it or something

Kind of, depending on which one you use. It can make it bleed less or completely stop it

so then it does kind of work that way then

birth control has a lot of ugly side effects

well I was guessing that there was a way to control your bleeding in the same way that you can kind of control other bodily functions

like you can't stop yourself from pooping but there could be ways to poop more regularly if you eat differently or something

but bleeding isn't like eating I guess?

The vast majority of homeless people are men.
