Anyone else think ghosting is great and that more people should do it? It's a clean end to things and the message is clear. What do you think?
Anyone else think ghosting is great and that more people should do it...
ghosting after what degree of relationship is acceptable?
I do it out of fear a lot. Probably a bad thing but I am super anti social.
it's shitty and immature, but it's like i'd be devastated if someone did it to me. i'd just think a lot less of them.
Ghosting is terrible. KYS.
Ghosting is fine. I'm not attached to you at the hip get over it retard.
The only good thing about ghosting is that it weeds out the human trash that does it from the lives of decent people
>Ghosting is terrible.
Care to explain why?
not him but id like a direct goodbye
immature and pussyshit that is a complete result of the disassociation from real human interaction technology allows
grow some fucking balls and say how things are clearly instead of pussyfooting around it
If you care enough about the other person or if you know they care a lot about you, I'd say they at-least deserve an explanation or a talk. If on the other hand they barely speak to you, don't show any care/understanding/thought/etc and you already gave them another chance, then I'd say it's acceptable to just drop-off the face of the earth and leave them behind. It's shitty but acceptable in some cases.
>why is ghosting bad?
>it makes you a pussy that's why
ok but why is it bad, I don't give a shit if someone I'll never see again thinks I'm a pussy and the ghosting doesn't make me immature (if you think ghosting is immature) its a product of my immaturity.
not op but I'll ask again, how is ghosting any worse than breaking off a relationship normally for any people involved
>If on the other hand they barely speak to you, don't show any care/understanding/thought/etc and you already gave them another chance, then I'd say it's acceptable
And I'd just like to add that if this person is draining and toxic to your life in whatever way that it's perfectly fine to ghost as well
because if the relationship meant anything to you you should have had enough of an attachment to want to do things right and be open with them
ghosting is for the lowest of gutless sacks of shit, don't start shit if you don't intend to finish
What about ghosting where they don't remove you? what message does that send?
also when you know they talk to nobody else.
It's disgusting
unless the person is a complete evil piece of shit they deserve some kind of explanation and goodbye
Is it ghosting if I'm just taking a long break from talking to you?
in my opinion if its sudden, without a word, then yes. even if you plan to contact them later.
do you ignore messages with no explanation?
FUCK I'm pretty sure I'm ghosting at least one person right now but I can't remember who. Literally what do I do in this situation
I hope mine is just doing that
i miss her so much
She could be dead, user.
she's not dead
she has me added on stuff that i check in on occasionally
that is another reason not to ghost though
if not for that i could have assumed death.
Yeah it sucks but it's the best method of stopping a conversation you're not interested in. I would rather get ghosted than hear some lame or excuse or get told to fuck off in a rude way
Why should people be ending relationships?
>I would rather get ghosted than hear some lame or excuse or get told to fuck off in a rude way
this. there's nothing i can explain to someone that isn't either extremely hurtful or a vague excuse before ghosting them
It can be ended in a nice way.
people ghost for 1 little screw up they will never find anyone real
Ghosting's always been acceptable and a positive thing. As you've said, it sends quite a clear message of disinterest. Squandering time on explaining why you want to terminate a relationship is idiotic.
Why do you think it's become such a big problem now?
If you get THAT hurt by ghosting you can just force them back, you know.
I don't care about your topic OP, I just want to say that I want to pet that school girl like the bitch she is
