Once he got the job he was making 100-120k (can't remember how much), but they made him move out to Washington. He had upward mobility there and is now making over 160k and has been able to move back home and work remotely. Start where you're at and use your experience to get better. It only took him 5 years before he applied to Microsoft.

Sure blacks are gonna be the number one hire for these companies but keep in mind that when these recruiters that are visiting school job fairs are dealing with a candidate pool that is 80% Indian or Asian, you don't exactly have the luxury of picking out every black dude or chick without tossing in a handful of the poo in loos.
