Do you like Copenhagen?
I would love to go there once the Rona quarantine ends
Do you like Copenhagen?
I wanted to head to Denmark but know don't really care about it as much
>now don't really care as much
Why?
What is Danish pin billiards like?
cobenhagen is great if you have alot of money
do I really need that much money just to be there for a week? I anticipate on bringing plenty of spending money, but not like a Dubai trip
It was alright, has some nice parks and quaint palaces to see. Some parts of the city are a bit rough like Christiania, but still not as bad as somewhere like London. Can be pretty expensive but you can be somewhat frugal if you try. I'd definitely recommend getting out the city for at least some time to see the countryside in Zealand. Places like the Jaegersborg Dyrehave are only a short train ride away. You're only a short train ride away from Malmo in Sweden too. There's not a great amount to do there but it's still worth a day trip, even just for the novelty of saying you went to Sweden too. And don't worry Malmo isn't as bad as Yas Forums makes it out to be
user above no-one cares, stop ruining OP's thread with your paedo shit
I figured I go to Malmo just to check it out
How different is the vibe there?
trash normie shithole
t. copenhagener
Depends what you mean by vibe? If you mean nightlife I'm not really into that kinda thing so I wouldn't know. I'd say it was quieter than Copenhagen though. Although a lot of it is just grey city buildings it has a bunch of cute medieval looking houses in the city centre.
Swedes are bro tier too, on the train back to Denmark I met some Swedish artist who wanted help carrying loads of heavy bags full of painting equipment onto the train. In return he showed me how the ticket machines worked and translated the Swedish for me.
Maybe you could go on to see Lund or Helsingborg too while you're there? I was going to but I got pretty tired walking around Malmo and just decided to head back in the end. Apparently Lund's meant to be nice
Normie trash? What's so bad about it?
it's like stockholm but worse
Did you find that Danish and Swedish girls look any different?
Not that I could tell, don't think I was in Sweden long enough to judge really. Plus both cities are quite... multicultural. Most girls I saw were tourists or immigrants. Maybe I'd have to have gone to the countryside more to see some proper Nordic girls
Which Danish beers are best?
Tuborg classic but if you're into beer go to Charlie's bar.
I lived there for a year as an exchange student, it's a really cool place.
What sort of stuff are you into OP? I also agree with the user who said to go to Malmo too.
The only reason to come to Copenhagen is so you can land there and drive out on the country. Come see Moen
I'm into beer, but I would rather try the more "Danish" beers as opposed to microbrew styles since those are here in spades in the US
I like eating, drinking, walking around, markets, street art, etc.
Nice- ok check out Freetown Christiania, it's a market of sorts. Check out Torvehallerne in Norreport and from here you can walk one direction to check out the old towney area of Copenhagen, and the other direction to cross the bridge into Norrebro which has a lot of street art and alternative shops.
My favourite walk there is to start in Nyhavn (which everyone says to go to anyway), and walk across the bridge into Christianshavn, and walk around the canals and back streets here.
There's an awesome culinary scene in CPH, a cool recommendation I would give you food wise is to go to Boltens food court- it's a 4 level food court filled with high quality fast food- think noodles, bao burgers, fish and chips, etc. Modern hipster interior inside an old building, really cool.
Idk if Charlies is danish beer per se in fact I think it's main clientele are long term expats from the UK looking for a taste of home. but it's a cask ale bar with high quality stuff and you will always find good conversation there.
Thanks, I screencapped this
I will likely be staying at the Wakeup Bernstorffsgade
Yeah I like beers in general so I would appreciate that.
That's something I would do midday, and at night go to dingy dive bar kind of places
Looked it up, it's right near Islands Brygge. If you're there in the warmer months you should swim there just to tick it off the list.
Oh also OP- Go to Frederiksberg Slot. Also- I'll give you an awesome place to go that tourists never go to- Go to Dragor. I suspect the reason it's so underrated is bc it's the only thing South of the airport, whereas CPH and everything else is north so everybody just goes that way and stays there (also no metro down to Dragor).
Rent a bike and cycle down there, spend the day and cycle back. Really nice little coastal village with traditional architecture and it's ridiculously hard to believe it's just on the outskirts of a city.
That sounds good, I like places like that.
Is biking in CPH overwhelming for someone not used to it?
If you've rode bikes before should be fine, just stay alert. And learn the hand signals before you go.
There's not really much unique danish beer. The most "danish" beer are just the popular ones like Carlsberg and tuborg and they taste the same as the cheap lager everywhere else in the world
I like Copenhagen a lot and would like to move there. I visit often because some of my relatives are from there. Here's one of the royal horses I met when I was there in August
I met this mean cat in a restaurant that was attached to tivoli. First it was nice but when I tried to stop it from stealing my food it got angry.
Chads, normies and leftists everywhere. The nightlife is also almost exclusively teenage chads and stacies so you're gonna feel like a fucking loser if you go clubbing and you're under 7/10 in looks.
I would recommend visting only if you're purely looking to expereince the culture and arcitecture ect..
