Right wing elements at least go back to the 2008 Ron Paul primary era and grew bit by bit during the old days of /new/ (recall that it was purged because moot didn't like how right wing it was). The stormfag label is for cringy wignats and always has been, but the site wasn't "turned right wing" by a stormfront raid. Stormfront was always a fringe website that never had enough people to influence the entirety of Yas Forums, a much bigger website. Back then, raid were constant, and came from all political alignments. I actually think one of the big contributors to the rightwing movement of this site was banning /new/, paradoxically.
