You have to work out. I use to be 130 pounds at 5'10. I gained 40 pounds since then by packing on muscle. I don't pack on fat too well but muscle stays on you and makes you look great. Best part when you are a thin person is that you will see your defined muscles due to lower body fat.
go to a doctor and/or nutritionist. the former will be able to let you know if you really have a biological problem and the latter will fix up your diet so you can actually gain weight.

Being underweight is easier then overweight. In the end, there are easy medical ways to make you gain weight. Just go talk to a doctor or nutritionist. Poor fat people are fucked cause outside of surgery, there is no was for them to lose weight easily.
Also if your that low weight your likely low body fat. Which means if you put on some muscle by lifting weights, you could get A E S T H T E T I C

Its hard for everyone to start working out. When I first started working out I couldn't do a pushup. I kept at it, now I rack numbers more than 99% of the world population can do. Hell I'm even a varsity athlete at a collegiate level. You gotta start somewhere. Nice thing about lifting weight, you can start light and move up to heavier weights.
some people just have a very small appetite, it took me years to build mine up to the point where I didn't look emaciated anymore

For me it's a metabolism thing. I eat a fuckton of junk food constantly and I'm still around 125 pounds. Can't put on weight not matter what I try.

It is simply impossible for me to eat more. I can't attempt to eat beyond what my appetite dictates. If I do I end up shitting my guts out on the toilet for an hour or three. Only way I was able to gain weight was eating higher protein food along with working out.

you'd be surprised how many average looking people have trouble with push ups, try doing them on your knees while you build up strength and you should easily be able to bang out 10 or more proper ones within a few weeks

Pushups are actually hard. I am in the military as well, I play for my academy's teams. Even us athletes and other soldiers still have difficulty with them. Pushups use a lot of muscles and require a decent amount of coordination. If push ups are a goal for you. I'd start with knee pushups and incline pushups. Do planks to build core and bench to help build them chesticles and triceps.
I personally found pushups harder to do with the more muscle I gained. I started to weigh more along with needing to use more energy.

thanks user i'll try it, last time i tried doing pushups, it gave me the sensation for weeks every so often that i was having a heart attack, i think i may have pulled a muscle doing them wrong or something. it was really painful and i actually went to the hospital and had tests done but they told me it was just muscular pain

I weight 260lbs so I few pounds means little to me at this point. I'm about 14% body fat so i'm not fat. I find once you get to higher weights you just gain new kinds of pain tolerance. Plus during courses, i'd have to do at least a thousand in a day. You kinda learn to get past that.

Ya, I'm the same height and now. I've been eating lots of red meat doing manual labor for 8 years, basically all muscle now. Made my career choice to simply stop being a skele.
I'm 6'0" 140lbs and I think I could get a gf with my current looks.
I am starting to lift weights recently though, mom bought my a barbell so I can do curls, military presses, squats and rows.
