>money won't make you happy
is true or cope?
Money won't make you happy
Those who say money can't buy happiness must be shopping at the wrong store.
Anybody who tells you money doesnt matter is a liar. If I had 5000 to get an electric mountain bike i would be the happiest fucker alive
Well if you want money you'll never happy but I want to have bread user.
It's an interesting question op.
It really depends on the person. I don't really want anything but I have the money to buy it yet I'm happy. But some people with loads of money are never happy when they just conSOOM things and they run out of things to consume. Money is a tool help aquire happiness but not a guarantee to happiness.
It's true for people born into large wealth because they didn't have to work hard to achieve money. It's a cope for poor people as money takes them from living in a slum to getting their own house, traveling the world, getting a gf, nicer car etc. and that makes them happy as fuck.
Tell that to the homeless people and starving, they would totally agree with you!
I have damn near $300k in the bank and I cannot wait for the opportunity to blow my brains out.
id love to be a miserable rich asshole
i would buy a huge house and do nothing untill i died
Gossen's First Law
>is the "law" of diminishing marginal utility: that marginal utilities are diminishing across the ranges relevant to decision-making.
>>money won't make you happy
>is true or cope?
Up to 100k a year you get happier with each 1k you earn.
After that you get diminishing returns.
So it's true to /a certain extent/ but past a certain point you're just working to be less bored.
give me some money, I'll show you how happy I'd be lmao
money buying happiness is some dumb ass normalnigger concern.
>wahh i live the perfect life with my wife and kids, i'm still not happy
kys
>Up to 100k a year you get happier with each 1k you earn.
something to think about
Of course it's a cope. Nothing feels better than being rish.
it won't give you fullfillment, but it'll make fullfillment way easier to get.
i have all the money i will ever need but i have nothing to buy and nobody to spend it on
it's because you're not actually looking. just try a couple of escorts and you're almost guaranteed to eventually find one that's your type and might start things from there
strippers are also really good
True. When will you idiots learn that externals will never bring you true happiness? If you spend a bunch of money on shit you will be incredibly happy, but only for a bit. Once you get used to it you will need more, and more, and more. You will never be satisfied chasing numbers. Learn the difference between pleasure and true lifelong happiness. Reminder that all rich people are insane alcoholics that loose their fucking minds on the daily.
Having agency and resources to pursue passions and goals will help make you happy and money can provide that agency, if you're a slave to your means to obtain money you still won't be happy though because you lack the freedom to act which money can provide. You need both the free time and the vision as well. Wealth is only one part of the equation and not the ends itself so it's somewhat a true statement, money itself won't bring happiness.
It doesn't buy happiness but it is required for it. You need a minimum amount of money to be free of financial stress/worry. Beyond that minimum, money alone will not bring happiness.
Have you ever seen anyone miserable on a yacht?
Yeah I have. But I've also seen people happy on a yacht. Just as I've seen people happy who live off $100/mo like my boy Stobe the hobo(RIP) and people miserable in the same position.
Again it's a tool not a guarantee.
Cope, look is everything
Studies show it doesn't matter much after 70k in the US. I'm assuming there are outliers but most people should realize that money is just a means to an end.
I think it's the fact money can't buy many things. You can't pay someone to take your life threatening disease, you can't buy time, you can't buy people back alive. So yeah it's kinda true
It's a cope
pretty sure never having to worry about anything and buying a slave and making her into an anime waifu would make me happy
your mom's pussy and asshole is a tool
i wanna fucking rape her
I mean it's really the same thing. Sex is a tool that might help you become happier. But it's not a guarantee.
it certainly beats not having any
i know rich people who are miserable but they'd be more miserable if they were poor
Anyone who says money can't buy happiness should give me most of their money and see how they like it
cope
not just cope
but poorfag cope, which is the worst kind of cope
Kind of. I have a net worth 1.4 million dollars, $120k on hand and 50k in stocks/investments. Once you have a house (security) and food/car, everything else is just diminishing returns.
I don't even know what the fuck to spend it on aside from small entertainment shit.
Not saying I rather be poor, but I'm still a sad lonely miserable fuck.
>but poorfag cope, which is the worst kind of cope
why?
Having money doesnt make you happy. Spending money makes you happy. It may sound weird but some people can not willingly spend their money when they have it.
Eitheir they cant find the right thing to buy or they are too scared to part with their money.
If you're just gonna die, can I get some?
It doesn't, but it does free you up from all of your worries so that it's a lot easier to find happiness; or at least contentment, Having 40 more free hours a week would definitely help with happiness.
richfags should give money to us poorfags pls
I know exactly what you mean, i didn't have as much money as you stated but i was really well off a couple of years ago ,however, that energy-drenching void inside me was constantly dawning on me.
now that i'm back to being a poorfag due to bad choices, i realize that this feeling is a human state we all have to go through regardless of money or any other factor. however, when one is wealthy, you only have that problem to deal with as opposed to having the same problem but on top of that having to endure all the hardships being poor implies. so at least be glad you made something for yourself.
Just ask how many of these people who say money won't make you happy would give up their money
Money isn't gonna make you happy, but it sure is a hell of a lot harder to be happy living in a trailer park on an empty stomach.
True in my case, It made me comfy, had some fun buying meaningless material things, but not 'happy', not even close.
It doesn't matter how successful, accomplished and rich you are because at the end of the day, it's all meaningless without a loving wife, and the part that most people here get wrong? is thinking being successful, accomplished and rich will get you a loving gf/wife, You wish, It doesn't work like that.
I've said it before and I'm saying it again, some of us were never meant to make it.
t. retired 30yo boomer
I'm a 21 year old incel millionaire because of my parents, no money does not make you happy/
Everyone would be happy to have tons of money but there are things that money won't make you feel good about
The correct question would be: To what extent can money make you happy?
Brainlet zoomer replies as usual.
Money is for comfort and freedom, not happiness. Comfort and freedom both contribute to the possibility of your being happy, but doesn't ensure it will exist. Babbies first existential crisis.
can i have your money after you die? i dont wanna go to work in 7 hours
A lot of money is a means to buy the most important thing in the world: liberty.
Without it you are doomed to spend 40 hours a week slaving away doing mindless idiotic stressful tasks for the next 40 years.
People who say money doesn't buy happiness should be shot, slaughtered and dismembered.
95% of the time money is happiness, the rest are just specific cases where nothing can be done
>weird ass disease/stupid condition that money can't cure; from cancer/alzheimer/schizo to short pp/midget and so on
>being old
>losing a family member
I don't know but money helps me hear live music from professionals, it also helps me consume a ton of hash and collect art and that makes me pretty happy. Beer cost money too. Whoever says money can't buy happiness probably hasn't had that much of it, or hasn't had that much "free" happiness, it's overrated.
sad
I hope you will find happiness
Money can't buy love, but it can take it away from someone else. If I was a billionaire I'd find the most loyal women on the planet with husbands/boyfriends and offer them a million to fuck me, just to prove a point.
None of those things besides music are healthy and shouldn't be counted on to bring you happiness. Your life is shit.
>None of those things besides music are healthy

Thank you user, I hope everyone here finds happiness and live a blissful life they could never imagine.
what's wrong with collect art?
I'm drinking and smoking, reality is reality though.
Forgot to mention that.
its true i save about 80% of my money
i cant even go on holiday more than i do because i only get so much time off work. If i could work 40% of what i do then im sure my money would be much more useful but as it stands its time and not money which i want
so unless i become rich enough to retire having more money is really inconsequential to me
art is made by pedophiles.
of course it does. there's a reason billionaires always jew the fuck out of everyone else even though they have all the money.
what? van gogh was a pedophile?
