Bodies on the streets and alleyways here in Chicago because cemeterys are banned and all the hospital basements are full there's no place for them all. The corpses have ooze spots from where the rats have been feeding. Has a weird smell, not quite like rot more like potatoe chips and staleness. Like outdoor staleness.

The media and the people are getting insufferable.
My mother owns a kids hairdressing salon, and since the month started we didn't get a single penny thanks to this whole situation.
I only hope we can get customers after the quarentine ends.
In the meantime, I'm looking for a job so I can support her and I don't feel too miserable.

Government acted quickly, so it's not that bad
We were supposed to soon have presidential election and opposition screams to postpone them, while ruling party wants to have them in their proper time
While i rarely support our current government in anything, i hope they will do what they want here
After all if the election won't be postponed, my hs final exams might also happen in their proper time and that's what i care about

I live in New York, the coronavirus capital of the world. NYC is a festering hole of humanity, teeming with more than twice as many people as the next largest city in the country. They're rapidly fleeing north upstate and spreading the virus to the rest of us. Numbers are rising very rapidly. Like always, the city shitters are ruining things for everyone.

UK here, 19,522 cases and 1,228 deaths. The government acted way too slowly and I still don't think they're doing enough. We've been told to stay home unless we are going out for food/exercise/work but they're guidelines that can't be enforced. Need a crackdown like in Taiwan desu

My parents are only late 40s. They had me and my sisters from age 17-20 and they used meth during my childhood. They cleaned up after I was in elementary school, so idk about what damage the drugs have left in them and how it will effect them.

UK, I work in a hospital and basically everyone is being treated as COVID +ve as a precaution. This shit will take forever to die down. Hopefully once we reach the projected peak period it might settle a little but not for a while, and also the projected peak period has been talked about being 2 weeks away for the last month or so, I bet there will be a revised peak period after the first week of April anyway.

In my department we've been told we can't use any power tools during surgery so we've had to go back to doing stuff manually which is slow and a pain in the arse.
