f91w with black nato strap. they are well worn

>f91w
classic watch. much respect

Casio pathfinder.

Bro, this is my exact fucking watch!
As a cheap casio man to another, nice taste

>Casio pathfinder
very useful if lost in woods.

Yeah its a nice looking watch for being so cheap. Mine has scratches and battery died twice, but I will never replace it.

Rolex submariner no date. Bought it when I got my first real job.

>Rolex
Damn my uncle had one until 2009 when he had to sell it in the recession. You should take care of such a high quality watch.

Its a diver so it is meant to have wear and tear

your god father is a man of impeccable taste

Really? They are really expensive watch, if I had one I'd only wear it one special occasions.

I wear it every day. Its a nice watch and very versatile. Goes with a t shirt just as well as a sport coat. I never understood buying an expensive watch and leaving it in the box

That's true, it's a very good looking watch so if I had a better job I could see myself upgrading. Maybe I could buy one with the 1200 I'm gonna get in a few weeks from the Stimulus package my government is implementing.

I'm wearing an eta based GMT made by a small german company called Marcello C. It's criminally underrated and lets me know what time it is where my friends in UK and Germany are

I'm an off grid fag, I have no reason to wear my expensive/flex watches since I left the business/city life years ago. I bought the pathfinder 5 years ago as a meme but quickly discovered it's a great piece of functional and indestructible gear, 10/10 would recommend (change the straps to leather or para cord, fuck the rubber ones)

Why do people buy the pig disgusting super case variants? Especially when replica Rolex is at a point where they can take 100% genuine parts.

No date sub is around 8k

Is anyone really off the grid if they have access to the internet? In the U.S the NSA has everyones metadata so they know where everyone is at any time if they have internet access.

A pawn shop Rolex could be haggled down to 1200 since they are all collecting dust and most likely are stolen.

Just personally, Id never buy a fake Rolex. Kind of defeats the purpose. If I wanted to buy a cheaper watch id buy a seiko.

I don't wear a watch. I have a phone like a normal person would

Not a chance in the world you find a Rolex submariner for $1200. Its one of the most demanded watches in the world. 5k bottom dollar

>A pawn shop Rolex could be haggled down to 1200 since they are all collecting dust and most likely are stolen.
2/10 troll

Have you pulled out your phone to check the time during a date, interview, party, or at work? It's looked down upon and it's normal when you have a watch.

it's not about cheapness, it's about value. There's no way in hell there's 8k worth of "work" or materials going into that watch. Every new release gets further and further away from what Rolex used to be in a desperate attempt to artificially bring themselves up to Patek and VC tier.

Watches are the only real "accessory" that men should have.
It's also a nice way to check the time without looking like a faggot zoomer. Shows respect to the woman you're trying to fuck or the boss who's trying to fuck you.

oh wait I forgot this is r9k no one knows about either of those things here

Casio F-91W
Simple and versitile, plus I'm poor

I'm not in the US but nobody is really"off grid" as long as they're using internet/mobile network and especially if you post on this website, glowniggers have everyone's everything and we're all probably on a couple of lists, that's not what I meant by off grid.

>new release
Are you stupid? The no date sub has been around for 70 years
Rolex is the standard for luxury watches. The most expensive watch ever sold was at auction Rolex. No serious watch collector will ever shit on Rolex. Its only poorfags who think they are sophisticated for knowing about more than one luxury watch brand Patek and VC would kill for that brand recognition.

This man gets it. Never got yelled at by my faggot boss for checking my watch and have be written up for checking the time on my phone.

Parents both sold their rolexs during the financial crisis. Is it worth saving up for a new one or just stick with the Casio?
I want to look cool but approachable

Get whatever you want, but make sure you don't blow your savings on a watch. But if you have the money to spare why not treat yourself to a nice watch?

As a general rule of thumb I wouldnt buy a watch that cost more than your paycheck

>Have you pulled out your phone to check the time during a date, interview, party, or at work
Never had a date. Don't go to parties. What sort of a party has people that look down in people that check their phones? Seems like a lame party to me.
All interviews I attended had either a clock or wasn't long enough to warrant checking the time. The place I work at has a clock, but even then I can still check my phone without getting any shit.
I don't know who you're trying to impress but it's no one in real life.

i usually wear ops watch though
i keep this one in the vault

Attached: s-l300.jpg (300x300, 16.24K)

LOL you must be poor as fuck, it's an entry level tool watch, they're daily beaters.

>"new release"
>referring to the original sub
are you fucking retarded?

I challenge you to pull out your phone during an interview for a good paying job and pulling out your phone during a date with a girl. It won't won't end well for you.

don't fall for the watch meme, and especially don't fall for the seiko meme either.
Watches are horrible investments, despite what ROWLECKS shills will tell you.

Apple Hermes series 5 in Gold

What are smartwatches like? Are they worth replacing regular watches?

are you a femanon?
originally

F-91W never let me down

femanon don't exist on Yas Forums, only trannies and roasties who died.

I already have a good paying job. I don't see myself having a date with a girl in this lifetime, but if I did it wouldn't be with some girl that gets repulse by me looking at shiny pocket computer instead of shiny wrist metal

Post collection with time stamp

Who invests in watches? Its a hobby like anything else. People invest in the s&p. They buy watches

Well have fun ruining your dates if you ever get one.

>Casio F-91W
For 10 dollars nothing beats it.

Usually go with the F91W, but I recently treated myself and bought this bad boi. Very stylish, its the most beautiful Casio watch I have found and thats the only brand I use. Can't wait until it gets here. My mom did buy me a nice luxury watch for my 21st birthday a couple years back, she said every man needs a nice watch. I only wear it when I feel I have earned it, or when I am doing something important like a job interview or going to a wedding or something.

You all use watches?

Wearing my Seiko 5 rn

can this meme die?
just get a vostok instead at least you get decent WR and a lot of cool mods

Wait people actually unironically wear Casio watches? I thought it was a meme.

I know a lot of people that do. I'm in the Navy tho.

Yes user, they are highly reliable and resilient for their price, which is usually a fraction of what something with comparable functionality might cost. They are not glamorous though.

I wore one for almost 20 years, till I got myself an apple watch, which I love btw

Seiko for life. Just a cheap beater chrono.

neck yourself for that lug-to-lug on such a tiny wrist

casio is respectable day-to-day if you can speak on what drew you in

I usually wear this. Been meaning to change the band on it forever.

No, you don't see value in the Rolex.
People have different standards for different things. I myself would never buy a Rolex because I just want something that can tell time reliably and isn't attached to a phone. People who buy Rolex and similar brands do so because it is literally jewelry and conveys value and status.
