Quite a topic jump there, but eh:
By remembering who you were before and who you are now. What obstacles and fears you did face and have overcome. What sort of person does that it make you, in your own judgment?
Who did you help or hinder? And which part did you do more?
At least that is what works for me. Tons of regrets come too, that is natural. Things one could have done better in hindsight, which is always 10/10.
But all in all? I can face myself and say yeah that is acceptable.

You are really the ONLY person who you should get and accept that sort of final 'judgment' from, imo.
Nobody else will ever quite know all the details, felt all that went on inside you. So other people can just offering a different perspective, which is useful to have, but they simply cant never have all the facts.
Only you can get close to having those. That is why relying too much on them to reaffirm YOU always seems a bad idea to me.

Ive listened, i dont disagree. But my point was that without human contact, we go insane. Whether that other person is the final arbiter of judgement is a topic of debate but we need one another, the independent bullshit is just that, nonsense, i rely so much on my family, and they rely on me, we need other people to live. I hate how divisive everything is, its why no one trusts anyone, everyone is so suspicious. Its a horrible time to be alive. Life could be so much more, we have the technology and foresight to build an amazing world but its squandered.
