Venting is in general non beneficial. Not only does nothing happen as a result because you started with the goal of fixing absolutely nothing, but you also lose some of the pressure motivating you to accomplish anything. If you vent internally at least there is a hope of thinking of something beneficial, but doing it publicly just has the possibility of advice of questionable quality.
