It can eat some ram far more then chrome takes at least on my machine it does. Firefox works fine for me not had a crash yet with it on this new pc. And I like all the customization I can do with it so its the best browser for me.

That's okay, they don't have to. Manjaro is a one-click (maybe 2-3) install.

And therein lies the problem. Like I said, "consumer-friendly".
Until there's a halfway decent distro that can ALSO cater to the app store one-click-download group, which "just works" (but unironically), it will never be the year of Linux.
