I wanna know an ancient dead language like sumerian
C#
kind of want to learn Jap or Latin
>I wanna know an ancient dead language like sumerian
Good taste. I've looked at some different resources on the web but some of the information in them conflicts, and is also pretty dense and technical.
Japanese like your typical robot.
I'm also trying to learn Haskell, but haven't really been able to devote the time to it.
I'd like to learn Japanese to translate doujin from the late 90's-early 2000's, but I'm a 31 year old boomer and have no idea where I'd start or if it's even possible.
it might be difficult, but there's no harm in trying. as for where to start, i guess it depends on how you like to learn...
I could have been "original" but I thought it will be funnier to repost
It's funny seeing how Yas Forumstards get absolutely assblasted at your webms and images. I saw the webm of you trying to write Japanese on Yas Forums, and the anger was glorious. Please never stop.
Not just french
I'm not sure how I'd learn a language best desu, but I'm willing to try several different things
i personally use a rather non-structured approach of just reading/watching source japanese material like anime, manga and visual novels, and then mining them for words. then, i just put them in spaced repetition software like anki to remember them long term, and eventually i begin to put everything together and understand japanese better.
for more information on how to do this method, you can read Fluent Japanese from Anime and Manga. you can get it for free from b-ok.cc
there's a lot of learning resources out there though, that's just my own method. you can try looking at /jp/ for more ideas.
other than that... i'd recommend learning what particles mean and how to conjugate verbs early, as that will help a lot with understanding grammar.
if you have issues remembering kanji, i'd recommend learning the radicals that make them up, and also learning stroke order. but that's just a personal preference, i know many people don't learn stroke order of kanji at all. i just think it helps with visualizing and recognizing kanji when you see them.
sorry for going off on such a long rant...
I want to learn roman-era latin
Don't bother learning Japanese or Chinese right now. Just wait until the two countries pull their head out of their ass and sensibly switch entirely to romaji and pinyin, respectively.
Which era, though? Classical or vulgar? Because there's a reason even the Romans didn't bother with classical Latin.
ehh i kinda enjoy learning chinese characters at this point
though, you do have a fair point. this probably isn't what you're getting at because korean isn't romanized primarily either but, hangul is a nice alphabet and if you wanted to avoid learning chinese characters, a nice language to learn.
1st line
>sa
should be ca (can't do the cedille in this forum)
2nd line
>ta peur
should be tu as peur. T'as peur would be the correct version in spoken language, but for written things, "tu as peur" is more correct
4th line down
>tu m'as fait t'aimer
don't need the t' in t'aimer, since the pronoun is implied in the usage of "tu." same in the line under it
5th line
>mon coeur
Should be "la coeur," since the fact that it's your heart is implied with the pronoun in "m'as"
6th line
>ca
should have the cedille under it
6th line
>en vie
Should be en la vie, or dans la vie, stylistic choice desu but dans la vie is more correct
6th line
>que on
should be qu'on
8th line
>vrainment
vraiment
9th line
>jai
j'ai (dont forget to proofread!)
10th line
>survivrai
Technically means "I won't survive it," as if it's definitely going to happen. In this case, if what you mean is "I wouldn't survive it," then you need to use the conditional tense (not sure if you've learned it yet), which the conjugation for it would just be "Je n'y survivrais pas"
10th line
>Je n'y survivrai pas
I'm not sure if you meant to outlive/outlast in this sense, but in this case this sentence means "I won't outlive it," because of the pronoun you used. "Survivre a" (can't do the accent grave on the a, not ascii, won't let me post it) means to outlive or outlast, whereas just "survivre" means to survive. The sentence you wrote essentially means "I won't outlive losing you," which honestly I fucking love and I think it's poetic as fuck, but if you meant "I won't survive losing you," then your sentence would be "Je ne le survivrai pas."
Really good work, just a few small mistakes that proofreading could definitely fix
Unironically mandarin chinese
not bad for a nigger, but there are plenty of errors everywhere in there, gotta keep working on it
not that someone that speaks french wouldn't understand, but they'd just make fun of you for some of those mistakes
Thanks frens

No problem I like helping fren across all of Yas Forums
I need to sharpen my Japanese skills.
Translating makes for a good exercise.
French already is that
>French already is that
I wish
Weebanese. I won an award from my hs, and I kept studying after graduation, but I haven't studied at all this past week. I'm garbage at it.
meleebro?
sick award. i wish i took japanese in school but it was always full and i never got the opportunity. being entirely self taught kinda sucks in a way
>sick award.
Thanks, user.
>being entirely self taught kinda sucks in a way
I don't think I'd be able to self-teach myself. I tried self-teaching myself Korean in 8th grade, and I barely learned anything aside from the alphabet and a few words. However, I didn't really have many resources to use, and I was an immature kid.
What is this?
This isn't original.
>I wanna know an ancient dead language like sumerian
study assyriology then

Are you a native french speaker ?
>"la coeur"
should be le coeur
>en vie
Is actually correct if what he means is "to stay alive"
"en la vie" is definitely incorrect, at least in French as it's spoken in France
you are, and will remain, an inferior AMD

i just lost hope in humanity and don't feel like it's worth living anymore
I started duolingo for japanese to refresh myself on what I learned in college. gonna look into more resources and try to take the jlpt. all so I can play and watch japanese media raw.
>sensibly switch entirely to romaji and pinyin
Said the non-Japanese speaker. Japanese is fucking terrible to read with only kana.
Why do black people always have to post a pic with their hand in it?
Use this: itazuraneko.neocities.org
Threads on Yas Forums like /djt/ aren't really the most useful. It's largely shitposting. Just read and mine words once you know all the kana.
He does it because it triggers whites on Yas Forums and /vp/.
Understandably I won't give you any s o y inspiration.
What are you hobbies ?
That what I'm doing to ease the pain although I feel suicidal and empty daily .
Do you know where I could buy/stream X-Paroni?
I've been on the lookout for years now.
5/5, taste like salami !!
i used to draw but when i was around 18,used to love reading books, had literally 800+ comics, but as i grew older i lost interest in those things, sold all my comics, stopped drawing stopped reading, i just sleep all day and recently i quit my job because i don't feel like going out i don't know what is going on, im maintaining myself alive because of my father who is bedridden, when he passes away i will kill myself my sister has her own life im just finishing my responsibility as a son for my father who took care of me until my 27, he probably got around one more year since he doesn't eat just by a gastrointestinal button and had to wear diapers
