Canon Naruto is bomb but it is ruined by being such a mess of filler, flashbacks and other corporate garbage. It may have worked with the intended model of one episode being televised a week, but it is incredibly frustrating to watch on demand in a modern manner. They should remake it, like they did Dragon Ball Z Kai.

Favorite would be tied between Cowboy Bebop, Attack on Titan, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. I can't choose between these three because I think they are overall equally good.

It IS an anime, and if that makes you question your definition of anime it is not because Cowboy Bebop is so different, it is because your opinion of anime is prejudiced. Anime is just a medium, it doesn't imply that the quality or depth of the artistic text is lower than that of other mediums like books or movies.

Evangelion really had an impact on me, but I think one of the funniest things I ever witnessed was Nichijou. The cozies one still is Haruhi, even though I'm sure alot of it is nostalgia. Guess I just can't tell what my favorite is.
