It's like writing a book, but instead of writing a book you write a setting, you create a world with its own religions and kingdoms and history. I primarily do it for my Dungeons & Dragons campaign I run but I want to eventually write a proper fantasy book.
It's quite rewarding and it feels really good when you create something you can be proud of. I'd recommend to anyone on this board, try creating things instead of just consuming media. Humans were meant to create things. If you spend your life using and consuming but never making, you will go insane.
