Not if its platonic love, no. However you feel not only romantic but sexual love for a developing human that doesn't deserved your forced feelings on it. Children expect protection from adults because that is how it is, breaking that trust fucks up that person's entire life for good. Do you understand the implications of that? This child will never be able to go back to normal, or grow happily or achieve anything that it could've achieved if you hadn't decided that your own worries were bigger than the ones of someone more deserving of them.
