are thoughts and ideology not tangible results? they perceptibly change the way you view the world. what qualifies something as tangible (and, more importantly, why is that qualification important)?
technically it's the opposite of obtuseness. obtuseness implies insensitivity or stupidity, but I'm actively trying to dissect what OP even means or why he values what he seems to value - if anything that's the opposite of insensitivity

Thanks fren, I'm lacking motivation to write new stuff or finish my old stuff. I have 3 WIP tracks (autistic tech death) that I intended for a solo project but it's been 2 years and no progress. Because on top of the lack of motivation, I have a short attention span and I'm a lazy cunt in general.
I don't know if I'll ever finish them or write new stuff, Maybe one day I'll just post them here as WIP. For now I'm happy I started playing/practicing again instead of doing nothing.

Well the gist of it is that I belive politics to be a cancer that ruins everything it touches. Therefore I want nothing to do with it and certainly don't want it to devolve the last halfway decent thread on this board into the same autistic screeching that you can find anywhere else on this site or the internet.

Nah literally the opposite. This is actually peak zoomer. I was trying to make a Lego star wars texture pack for minecraft and then decided to make it a gif when I realized you can't put animated textures on an xp orb.

Then you're not gonna make anything. If you don't have the drive to do it regardless of the outcome you won't do it.

That being said you can just use headphones to play instruments. Synths, to my knowledge, pretty much all have headphone jacks. So do guitar or bass amps and all interfaces. You can also use instrument samples but good sample packs are pretty damn huge. And arranging samples in a pianoroll or something similar isn't as intuitive for most people as playing an instrument or even just a midi controller

I make some music, but I don't have time/willpower to do anything serious. I just fire up the instruments and improv some, don't prepare much.
