does drinking coffee cause anxiety in you?
Does drinking coffee cause anxiety in you?
If I drink something like cold brew or cold brew concentrate, yes. Otherwise, no.
missing out on the dalgona coffee trend is giving me anxiety
Yes. But I didn't realize I was actually anxious until I quit for a month.
Yes
Yeah. I drink so much fucking coffee I have to dial it back periodically. Usually i’ll start to feel my heart after my sixth or seventh cup. If I go above ten I start to have panic issues.
Yes, I have to lower my intake
yes. I had to switch to tea and take l theanine with it or else i get panic attacks desu
it makes me feel very warm and awake
Yeah. It makes me shake and feel awful. Idk why. I can drink any pwo and be just fine.
This
The trick is to never stop drinking coffee
Yeah, I like the anxiety. Also tastes delicious and makes me happy.
Lowered my intake, sometimes I can go for months without a cup, other times I drank it for a couple of days straight. Since I stopped drinking it daily I have 0 cravings, but it's nice to have a cup from sometimes.
Energy drinks yeah, but stims? Nope. Just a sense of calmness and clarity. I become less impulsive and choose my words carefully rather than blurting random shit out. Sadly the appetite reducing effects have gone away, but it's better; people won't suspect I'm on anything.
When I have a lot of caffeine sometimes get rushing heartbeat and feel very restless, but it's more of a thrill than anxiety
lmao, I've been drinking it everyday forever. Am interested now what will happen if I stop
no, it doesn't make me feel anything other than full because I want to feel like that to not snack during fasting
Drinking coffee makes me as paranoid as a schizophrenic. I see dark shadows and feel a demonic presence around me when I drink coffee.
am i the only one who got the
>lewd picture of a woman
>serious question about coffee
joke?
no it just wakes me up
if you have to ask yourself this question then coffee is not your problem user
lmao how do you get the shakes and anxiousness from coffee lmfao you fucking morons, weak baby shits hahaha literally just don't drink it black you dumb cunts hahaha
I wouldn't know; I don't do drugs.
I used to be able to have like 200mg caffeine a day no prob. now I get panic attacks if I even have a cup of coffee. I think my body is just telling me to not have caffeine
I drink a massive cup of coffee pretty much every morning and I literally feel nothing. Even when I don't drink it I barely feel anything provided I slept alright. Is this normal? I like the taste so I will probably keep drinking it. 190cm 90kg if that matters.
I'm a med student, by blood is basically coffee and energy drinks. So... Not really.
It amplifies the anxiety if I already have it, otherwise no. I stopped drinking it anyway.
2+ cups within 3 hours do the trick for me
a drink one little cup in the morning it makes me feel good and prevents me from eating like a pig
Nothing causes me anxiety, I can play russian roulette with a resting heart rate of 32.
Used to drink coffee 3 x a day every day for years, started getting this recently even after 1 cup, decided to quit and then slowly reintroduce it back. Honestly drinking CUPS of coffee is pointless, its more enjoyable in half cup servings
This coffee meme is so old and boring.
energy drinks gives me anxiety
coffee doesn't. coffee is good in the correct doses.
yes
on the other hand green tea stimulates and relaxes me, while black tea just stimulates me neutrally
If I drink too much then yes.
4 cups in a row starts being too much for me.
no because i take L-theanine with it. I'm considering quitting coffee, but i just enjoy it so much. any success stories?
Makes me tired until I get three plus cups in me.
Just don't have around 20 double shots or you will have a caffeine hangover worse than two bottles of vodka.
I feel like being a barista is killing my gains slowly.
I can't feel caffeine at all.
Yes
this photo is fucking hilarious
drinking too much coffee increases anxiety.
Drinking a set amount (400-500mg a day) does not change my anxiety levels noticeably, its just if I go above that amount
>go camping
>forget coffee
>headache and grumbly day 2
>normal day 4
I mean, I don't know what success story is supposed to mean, this is coffee not meth
Use L-theanine
how are you missing out? seems really easy to make yourself
yes.jpg
just quit 2 days ago already feeling better. from now on I'll just have a coffee cycle, one month on, one without and see how it goes
Why?
i mean was it worth cutting it out? I sometimes don't drink it on my days off, but im dependent on it at work. i can only sleep 5-6 hours at night and can't nap during the day. considering quitting if this could change, curious if anyone had great results cutting it out
I did not drink coffee for more than 100 days, less anxiety and my sleep was regulated, I slept every day before midnight. I started drinking again and went back to sleep after midnight, also more anxiety. I'm going to abandon this shit for good. When I stopped for the first time I had a lot of headache because I drank coffee regularly for more than 2 decades, and extreme tiredness, but after 2 weeks everything was regulated
You can live a full life on coffee and never miss it.
Coffee is not a substitute for sleep.
You should figure out why you only sleep 5-6 hours a night, and cut out the unnecessary bull you convince yourself is inevitable and is why you can't sleep, and instead get 8 hours of sleep a night.
Probably, explain pls
you will maybe be irritable and have a headache 2-3 days after quitting. Nothing after that
It causes minor anxiety but without it I'm antisocial and low energy even after cutting out caffeine for 7 months so I had to go back to it
No it's causing sleepyness
protip: drink with small amount of sugar and cream
if you want to drink it black only drink with meals.
Oh fuck yes and so does smoking, both which im abusing to shit. I think i unironically might have adhd
cawfee
Definitely does for me, but I don't remember this as a kid.
It seriously fucks with my mental state these days I always wondered if I was the only one that had such a severe mood reaction.
Based they put this in caffine pills a lot so you can get wired without being jittery
i don't drink coffee past 10am. i go to bed around 10pm and read until 10:30-11:00. i wake up around 4:30-5:00 and cannot fall back asleep. i get out of bed at 7:30 to get ready for work. explain to me where the problem lies.
Gets you up in the morning
(my theory)
heh
quite the opposite, actually. i often drink coffee in the late evening cause it helps me sleep
my heart was obliterated yesterday when i had 8 cups, so maybe
has anyone experienced the anti-depressant effects of coffee?
all stimulants make you anxious. amphetamines, caffeine, nicotine.
