I'm eating arount 1650 kcals daily and this fucking sucks. I used to eat 3000-3500 kcals a day and I was fucking primo. Now lockdown started, shut down the gym, and now my TDEE is just like, 2400 kcals a day.

I'm not burning anything and now I'm trying to be on a 750 kcal deficit to try and cut down a bit on excess fluff.

I feel hungry all the time and this just fucking blows.

How do people survive on this? Christ.

It really does fuck my brain when I see people talking shit about calorie and/or macro counting as a diet. I mean this shit is set in stone in the literature, anybody who actually does it for any decent period of time realises how fucking easymode it makes life/lifting in general.

Yeah it sucks man. I’m cutting pretty hard too. 1000-1500 calories a day. That’s more than a 1000 calories deficit for me btw. My motivation is cheat days ever certain amount of weight lost and if I stay at/below that weight milestone for at least a week. Sounds like a shitty idea and isn’t plausible for most people who aren’t experienced in cutting, but I’ll enjoy it. And yeah not a cheat meal, an entire day of fuck it, the real catch is I follow the next week after that day with OMAD psmf and then back to normal cutting diet. Doing this every 20lbs. Makes it worth for me

the secret is a lot of fiber and low calorie dense foods like leafy greens because they fill you up at very little calories. then it just becomes not eating out of boredom/impulse. I also find sparkling water helps keep me feel full without consuming excess calories.
