That is still within norms for male pattern baldness. I probably got to that point around 19-20 and I didn't lift or anything so I was probably pretty low-t.

I'm 33 and I've been paranoid about my hair since I was like 19

Any place that's balded can't be regrown. If you want to save your hair jump on finasteride now.

How much finasteride regrows depends on your genes. Finasteride regrew 1 cm of my temples so this isn't true, it might be rare though.

Finasteride just maintains what you've got most of the time. I've never had any side-effects (2 years in) and it definitely slowed down the process if not stopped it. Good luck

How about you just try it

just a mature hairline

ok and....?

And NOTHING

your not balding retard, thats called a matured hairline

How about this one? Right pic is rn at the age of 21, left pic is from a year ago (yes I know sorry for bedroom hair). Did i stop? Did it get better or worse?
(if you think the top is higher up than it used to be then no, it's not, just a matter of perspective)
I also have a shitton of those small regrowing hair that have problems catching up, and am on minox.

Exactly like my hairline. I´m 32 thought. It will restore what´s left on temples, gains are marginal. Gains are most noticeable where you still have hair, it grows thicker and stronger. Unfortunately temples are tough, medicine only halts the process. To make matters even worse , temples are hard for surgeons too. Some surgeons don´t even want to operate on temporal recession because it´s hard to make it look natural. My advise: try finasterid but don´t expect it to regrowth temples, it only stops further damage.

>mature hairline
I can't grow any facial hair, would this support that?

Finasteride does a great job at maintaining. If you are lucky an the loss ia recent you can get some regrowth.

It will turn you into a tranny.

i have a very similar hairline at 27, can't really grow much facial hair, although i still shave daily to look presentable but didn't really even have to do that until like 24/25.

i think i had this hairline since like 15 years old.

i can't say what your case will be like in future mate, but it couldn't hurt to do scalp massages. i like to do them just to be safe.

''Conclusions: Stretching forces result in changes in gene expression in human dermal papilla cells. Standardized scalp massage is a way to transmit mechanical stress to human dermal papilla cells in subcutaneous tissue. Hair thickness was shown to increase with standardized scalp massage.''

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4740347/

you op and everyone who is anxious about his hairline should just ask their fucking barber and stop making such trash ass threads ffs

Red light therapy has evidence behind it. There's no harm in trying it. You can use regular incandescent bulbs.

Also, nofap works for some people, me included.

''CONCLUSIONS:
LLLT of the scalp at 655 nm significantly improved hair counts in males with androgenetic alopecia.''

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24078483

How do you perform scalp massages, what are you trying to do?

kind of like pinching your scalp. essentially you are increasing blood flow and breaking up any calcification in the scalp.

various techniques:
youtube.com/watch?v=GUwlGYy6OxI
youtube.com/watch?v=bP6ZG26uUGk

you can use a brush like this:
youtube.com/watch?v=D1SDGH_SAQk

i also like to use pic related in the shower. i use it to massage the shampoo in. it helps exfoliate the scalp and increase blood flow.

seems nifty, thanks based user

oh and try and find a sulphate free shampoo. people find it makes their scalp worse.

you can find sulphate and paraben free shampoos easily.

Not a lot of people have a perfect straight hairline. Look at pics when you were younger its probably identical and you're just paranoid.

at 18 i had way more hair than you have now, save it m8

You guys had any success with fin?

same, 1 year in. Try it op, dont be a beta and fall for the fearmongering aka bald manlets wanting you to be bald aswell.

Is having medium/long hair past age 25 a bad look and immature? I like having length on the top, but I fear some men won't take me seriously.

Sorry user this looks to be textbook male pattern baldness.

Same boat here. Had this same hairline since I was 15-16, now 26 and it looks the exact same. Kinda sucks the way it looks but I'm just glad nothing has fallen off yet.

Are you Eastern European descent by chance? I feel like its more likely with that group.

i think completly unrelated

I personally think it doesn't look very professional and comes off like a surfer dude that doesn't recognize that he's not 18 anymore but that's just my opinion.

Mines is like this. Im coping by telling myself its from stress and my lack of sleep. Gonna sleep more and worry less. No one in my family is bald. God i look terrible

>oh no my hairline

Attached: 1582015890299.jpg (2641x3960, 2.31M)

this is my hairline too, same age. nobody in my family is bald so I don't get why it looks like this

literally same

OP do this topical finasteride + Minoxidil (you have to use both forever if you wanna keep your gains), and make sure you let it dry for 4 hours for max absorption in scalp 2 is also fine to let it dry, you could use a hairdryer on cold setting if you want to speed up to dry on your scalp. MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR HANDS AND DONT LET MINOXIDIL ON YOUR FACE OR APPLY IT AT NIGHT BEFORE BED IT WILL GET ON OUR PILLOW WHEN YOU MOVE IT WILL GET ON YOUR FACE AND FUCK UP YOUR SKIN (look into it, other than that you'll be fine)

Here is a guy in your situation with great results

I'm using minox to grow a beard, what's this about fucking up your skin? I always put it on before bed....

>Here is a guy in your situation with great results
wtf those results are insane. I wonder what his dose is per day.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29972712
>only 5% reduction in plasma DHT
>similar results to 1mg oral finasteride
goddamnit, why didn't I get on topical fin years ago?

>I'm using minox to grow a beard

Attached: 1345241299820.png (345x369, 33.75K)

wait wtf, finasteride is applied to skin? how the fuck does that have impotence as a side effect

Yes, it can, and well...although it's not the minoxidil itself since there is no evidence to suggest it does, but the solution does contain alcohol which drys and cracks the skin IF applied on your face, there's a lot of guys online who say it fucked their skin up a few months after using it when attempting to grow some unfortunately pathetic beards. NOW DON"T PANIC user, You could 1. stop using it and accept not having a beard and losing what you gained or 2. get some tretinoin (which is commonly referred as RETIN A) which is proven to increase collagen production in your skin (Honestly every young person at 18 should get on that shit asap if they want to look younger when their 30 but I digress), and continue to use it and hope for the best. OR 3. drop that SHIT and use rentinA you'll lose a beard but you'll fade away wrinkles quite well actually and prevent others from forming (research the concentration that works for you I use 0.04%). Good luck user
My bad its 60mg finasteride you crush into a fine powder and mix it well with 60mL of Minoxidil, this will last you 2 months before making another batch And only apply1mL daily. ALSO, Propecia (which is finasteride just another name for it) is labeled patented or whatever the term is, basically all finasteride providers/distributors are getting it from the same factory, Just buy the cheapest you can find and have at it. PS don't take finasteride orally side effects are real but topical finasteride brings down reported side effects by 68% or something(I'm busy rn I know its coming from my ass rn but trust research and you'll likely gather what I have)

Here is how he makes his batch good luck anons hope my hrs upon hrs of sifting through the BS of snake oil salesmen benefits you guys

The default method is to take it orally tablet form.

you should just get mad rich and get a hair transplant

Its applied to the scalp there's a lot of positive results from using it this way and since side effects are lowered significantly you can't go wrong, And I don't use Fin of 1 mg per 1mL of Minox, rather 0.5mg per 1mL since research shows it has the same effectiveness the difference is 1% or 2 % if I recall less fin less side effects

Attached: 1582685275380.gif (500x260, 806.08K)

Topical doesn't have the negative effects that oral do.

They make collagen pills and even a protein powder similar to whey. Theres different types, some good for the skin, hair, joints etc. I was thinking of getting on those. Never heard of retna before. Do you think retna would be the more effective choice?

unlikely but possible. i didnt see any temple growth but top got significantly thicker.

Guys if I go to my doctor and ask her if there's a way to restore my hairline, will she laugh at me?

No offense but this place is so full of memes and shills that I wouldn't trust what you guys say about medication, so i'd rather ask my doc

She won't laugh at you, she'll just try to sell you shit.

What kind of balding do you have--recession or thinning? If it's thinning there's a good chance finasteride will help, possible complete recovery. If it's receeding like me you're doomed to being unattractive and having negative traits (pedophile, cancer-patient, skinhead) associated with you at a young age and there's no escape.

Yeah it's receding. I'm 26 and it's not that bad yet, but based on my family history it will only get worse as I get older.

Yes it one of the only medications that are proven to work, collagen 1 and collagen 2 are needed to be healthy anyway, bone broth, Vit C and healthy fats and oils like olive oil NOT veg oils and canola BS not good

Continuing off what I just said, the best medication is to
1. disregard the "it's all confidence bro" horseshit that redditards will tell you. Looks are extremely important, if not the most important factor to success in life.
2. disregard the lookism mental illness. You can look shit and still enjoy your life
3. Find something to focus on for the next 3 years while technology grows exponentially. Samumed, Tsuji, Follica seem promising.

Hey at least you enjoyed your early 20s. I've been shaving my head since 21 and by 25 I'll have a horseshoe.

JUST

> go to my doctor
>she
user...you can get fin and minox online ex) roman, hims, keeps, its all there even testerone testers

It depends how you present yourself. If you dress nice and are clean shaven/nicely groomed you can get away with it.

>Is having medium/long hair past age 25 a bad look and immature?
Only if you're ugly

anyone ever use ru58841?
