Depends. I started with crunches and planks you know the typical shit then moved on to ab rolls (use a towel cause no equipment) dragon flags and dynamic plank variations. Still do crunches tho.

I was at an advanced level when I first tried them so they were easy. There's more than core strength going on in there, body control and glutes as well.
Much like ab rolls, you need more than just a strong core to pull them off properly.

Yeah. Look up towel ab roll. If you dont have a floor that slides you're fucked but you can always use your head. I used to do body saw planks (which is a fairly similar exercise) using a board for cutting paper. If you have enough space on the kitchen that also works.

All people eventually get shaken up by life like that, but I wouldn't take too much refuge in work. you need a wider net of connections, deeper connections, not to further isolate yourself. do you have extended family you could rekindle connections with? old friends? hard to make new friends, especially when you need them, for the same reason you can't get women when you really want them. you reek too much of desperation, which means they feel too much of your happiness rests in their hands, and they might just want to have a good time with someone else, not to repair a broken soul. you can't have fun with that level of responsibility in your hands, which is why i said you should try and fix yourself, and think about making friends with someone who you see is lonely like you, who you can help. honestly, man, religion/local church might be a good place to turn to if you're religious, or if not but there's those seeds in you, it might be good to let them sprout. I do yoga often but an hour of it works core out less than a proper ab workout in ten minutes. It's still a great exercise tho no reason not to do it if you can fit it in your schedule.
