6'4", 200 lbs. Trying to escape skinnyfatmode. This is my current progress (first pic July 18, second pic today). Currently cutting. Should I continue cutting?

You're making it. Bulking/cutting is a meme at your stage, just eat a tiny bit less than your TDEE and keep lifting.

Abs are genetic most of the time. Some guys dont even have visible abs even when low bf(the rock). right here i hadnt trained abs directly for a couple months. I also didnt even have a strict diet. Id suggest trying to pack on more muscle before worrying about shreds. Heavy compounds should always be #1 priority.

sure! as many have said, if you're skinnyfat, you have to decide whether to bulk or cut first. started out with SL 5x5, switched to greyskull lp in between and finally switched to 531 in spring 2019 (FSL with 2 assistance exercises each day) as I have to focus on compound lifts (homegym).

Started counting calories and decided to bulk at around 3.200kcal from may to december (90 to 100kg), as I started grinding on many lifts. Lifts went up, but I got fatter. Decided to cut in december (~2000kcal). Trying to get at least 130g protein per day. Also be very patient.

Three month progress. Gyms shut down 2 weeks ago. Doing more running and focused bodyweight with heavy backpack.

The last one looks very similar to the second but the fat on my hips is way down and my core is widening out.

Lean bulk is going well: Strength is way up, and I'm 3lbs heavier than in late January with minimal fat gain. Thank you boomer parents for having a home gym.
