do you know what rent is user, they're charging you because they still have to pay the bank somehow
that's not his fucking problem
What do you mean, can't be legal?
Just call your bank or go online and have payments to the gym stopped.
take your brothers and bust in their windows or something
can't be traced to you because there's probably a lot of people in a similar situation
Thats what you get for being a subscription cuck and not a month to month chad.
this
I could be persuaded to pay full price if I were to receive a pic of your bare feet
This plan dubs
Dubbs roll please
>im hospitalized so i shouldn't pay my rent
thank fuck my gym membership is paid for by my landlord. even so, its at the YMCA so I wouldn't feel so bad about paying it any way since its a nonprofit that actually benefits the community and not some shithouse franchise branded gym like Anytime/Planet Fitness
>HURR JUST CANCEL YOUR CHARGES BY CALLING YOUR BANK
how to lower your credit score to shit so you can never buy a house 101
This is the only proper response
You're the real money-grubber here.
You literally told them you wanted to freeze. If you want to cancel, you have to tell them you want to cancel.
>Hi, I'd like a cheap, used car or no car at all
>Cool, what make of car would you like?
Everyone should be required to spend six months working in sales.
I'm keeping my membership open, because I really like the gym and know the owners.
Roll for this
In the past. One of my bank cards expired to a gym back in 2011.
I said "fuck it" and didnt bother updating since i wasn't going to gym.
A couple months later, reveived a letter from debt collector, checked credit report and sure enough they submitted the non-payment to credit collector.
I expect this gym will do the same.
Winner
You think those gyms didn't lay off everybody on payroll?
>following greg cuckols on kikebook
Leave this place
I think they probably still have to pay rent, utilities and whatever money they have into their equipment credit lines on top of insurance and benefits for their employees. Even if they laid off 30% of their employees they still are paying their unemployment insurance (which is about to go through the fucking roof) and payroll taxes for previous pay periods. Their expenses didn't just magically dry up to nothing now that their doors are being forced closed.
Not cancelling your membership is charity. You're not receiving a good or service for your money, what's the point of continuing to pay?
this is troll
just pay your 5 dollars or else you are worth than the shekel man
Kek imagine being this fucking stupid.
It doesn’t matter if it’s his problem or not, but it’s the reason why they’re gonna make him pay. So he can either cancel and fuck off, or pay.
My gym suspended everyone's membership until this is over but is offering a home workout service videos for all the members if they want it
Gyms litterely have no overheads except rent and staff.
They can get fucked I’m not paying them weekly so I can look at their locked door for 6 months. We’ve all got bills and rent to pay too.
Cancel all payments to them through your bank and then deal with the contract bullshit. It's pointless to pay for a service that you are not using so they can go fuck themselves.
This might finally kill gyms when millions have to crack down on spending and cancel memberships they don't use
chargeback, you cuck
Couldn't you sign up with a prepaid card? Or do they require an ID and whatnot?
It's a fucking gym membership not a mortgage. It it really so arbitrary?
is it*
you're paying for a service, this service is not being provided. You cannot be contracted to a service that is no longer provided. Otherwise you could sign up as an ISP, say "$10/mo unlimited service at fastest speed, just gotta sign a 10 year contract" and then 3 days later close the ISP and still expect money
Gym owner here. I will try and explain this to you nicely. The average costs of running a gym include:
>Rent. $1000 a month at least depending on gym size, can easily top $10,000
>Staff. At least $30,000 a month for an average size gym with 20 or more staff members like mine. More staff is more expensive. Plus we have to pay advertising for our trainers etc, I have A4 print outs and flyers for each trainer at my gym. this project set the gym back $1000 mostly due to market research of the best machines to place the print outs on
>Utilities: Expensive as you can imagine due to all the electricity being used at the gym. If you have gas powered treadmills this becomes even more expensive. Offering FREE shower facilities makes this even worse. At least $10,000 a month
>Machine upkeep and replacement. At least $5000 a month.Have you ever wondered why home gym treadmills have footprints on them or why home gym squat racks shrink to adjust to the size of the user? Its because they aren't maintained to be suitable for all. we have to rub growing agents on the squat rack etc to prevent this.
>Radio and TV bills: Unless you want to work out in silence. Gyms work differently here, music labels charge us for rights based on the workouts people do, so a gym where lots of people squat require higher payments (the label is scared people will associate the grunting of lifters with the songs). at least $2000 a month
>Membership card production: Most gyms use carbonnanogristle to make their cards now. so this can be $2000 A MONTH easily not to mention replacement cards
Pay your fucking membership!
tl;dr
if you cant provide the service that is being payed for, there is no reason to pay.
>Surely this cant be legal.
It is and it is part of the contract you signed when joining for a memberhsip.
If you want to cancel your subscription, they will also charge you a fee and require a three months notice, it's a clear dark pattern and a legal scam.
Once I discovered that and had to pay three months upfront to leave my local gym, I went full homegym because fuck those greedy bastards.
just tell the bank to stop sending them money. they are hardly going to go to court over it.
turns out, if you want to make more shekels you'll also have to shoulder more risks. not sure why I should chip in during harder times, not like they passed on any of their profits to me when stuff was going well either.
Power racks shrink to the user?
I don't imagine you were lowering the membership fees when things went well, so I don't see why anyone should cover your losses now that things have gone south.
This.
>Mfw people think this guy is serious
Call him a nigger user
do these apes not understand that 3+ million people are unemployed and need to pay rent in a few days?
Call the kike a kike user
Aren't businesses getting bailed out?
>or why home gym squat racks shrink to adjust to the size of the user
Wait, what? Why does this happen?
Businesses dont about you, they just take your money you rich boomer faggots.
i am not ashamed of who i am, i am a dubsguy
this
my sides are gone
My local gym is keycard access. They have cameras inside but the owners only are there when they're working out: so no staff. They have a few cardio machines but mostly weight machines. Electricity from cardio machines and some inexpensive gym lighting is negligible.
Gyms with shitty business models deserve to die.
Obviously you're a troll, but this needs to be said anyways.
Imagine being an amerifat and not having your government pay 80% of your wages for you to not work and ride out the coronavirus.
Britain has basically instituted neetbucks for all. I could still pay my gym membership, but I don't have to because they've cancelled all payments, probably because they don't have to pay staff anything
Valid point for independent gyms where you personally know the owners but no-one should care about corporate chain gyms
>paying 40$ a month for training in a overcrowded filthy public "gym" instead of a home gym
>expecting that the gym owner would not treat you like a good goy
say
>I would like to cancel my membership
and once this corona shit is over say
>I want to pay for the usage of this facility
In all seriousness though, none of these services are being offered anymore and therefore gym owners don’t have to pay for any of that stuff.
Hell, in Australia, businesses are even getting free rent for the next 6 months.
my gym is offering all services except letting people in
What country do you live in where they dont have to go to court to get your money
if you are paying 2000$ a month for radio and TV bills I'm sorry but you are simply retarded, make a playlist in spotify and that's all, and I don't even understand the expense of the TVs besides buying them and paying for the electricity, do you pay a netflix subscription for every TV? Retard.
