Body aesthetics from lifting is the concern all of us focus on, but what about teeth? Bad teeth can completely ruin a good body.

When’s the last time you went to the dentist, and how crowded are your teeth?

i was a fucking idiot and didnt accept braces in highschool when my parents wanted to buy them for me. my wisdom teeth crowded them pretty bad. anyway, i only have 2 months of invisalign left, they are completely straight now. feels good, totally worth imo. paid like 6 grand though

>34
>haven’t been to dentist since teenager

How fucked am I? My sister and brother both spent about $4000 each for Invisalign, the cost of dental has put me off, but their teeth are so straight and perfect.

Not having to worry about ur teeth when smiling, laughing, talking, is underrated.

Maybe I’m just projecting, anytime I see someone with fucked up teeth I can’t help but be disgusted by them, like how I am with fatties. Now fucked teeth AND fatty is a double whammy combo for me to be utterly disgusted

you likely have 5-10 cavities as of now. It's going to be expensive to fix but you cant let this go on longer until your health is compromized.

I’m trying to save up money to move in with gf. I really can’t afford to be spending thousands at a dentist. Why does it have to cost so much?

I used to be that way until I came to terms with my stupid looking teeth.

I'm just finishing my 2 year plan. My teeth look great and I'm extremely happy. It feels very good. The outcome makes the initial discomfort so worth it.

It is true. I never really noticed, but I was mad self conscious before, wouldn't show my teeth when smiling in public/photos. Now it is significantly different, much more confidence and just feels great overall.

And yes you're right, crooked teeth are a turn off big time. Especially when not taken care of. With invisaligns I have to brush like 5-7 times a day so they're white as fuck

How old are you? I didn’t get my teeth straightened till 32

I always stopped caring, then I’d fall back into caring about them again, and I could never let go of it. Seeing my teeth all fucked up in candid photos pissed me off so much.

Now I can smile with a big ass banana shit eating grin or smile with my teeth without any self confidence issues.

I hated doing that cringe closed mouth beta smile

Black cocks and white teeth that's all Americans think of

Just get your jobs dental insurance for a few months and you'll be fine. I had eight fillings and under the dental plan provided by my minimum wagie job I had to pay like 380 bucks down from around 1400.

Cope.

I know people in Eastern Europe poor as fuck places who shit like Invisalign and plastic surgery

Cope if you think it’s just a wealthy western thing

My wife just finish that smile direct club thing. Her teeth are significantly straighter and it was only 1500 bucks and we made payments

Did anyone try those mail order invisible aligners? My teeth are kinda fucked up, but they're not fucked up to the point where I feel that $4000-$6000 is worth spending to get them fixed.

It depends. When I did Invisalign my dentist was monitoring it, and making adjustments and keeping my mouth clean and checking to see if anything is going wrong mid treatment.

You don’t get that with that smileclub thing

I wouldn't even risk it. Lots of people have good results but I've also heard nightmare results. If you setup invisalign appointments through an orthodontist you have monthly checkups. Frequently there are adjustments that need to be made hence the importance of having an actual orthodontist doing it rather than get mailed all 25 trays and they stop fitting at 12.

The real thing everyone is ignoring is your gum health.
How are your gums?

Don’t do that shit.

My dentist had to clean my teeth and gums properly before starting the treatment. You need deep clean and inspection of teeth and gums to ensure you can go ahead with the treatment. You could fuck your shit up if you order that stuff and you have an underlying issue that needs to be addressed first.

>tfw infected tooth
>Wisdom tooth is pressing against infected tooth causing pain when I lay down
>Had two sleepless nights due to the the pain
>Literally every dentist is closed due to covid 19

What country?

My dentist still open in Australia.

Murica

Anyone have receding gums? I've switched to a soft brush and try to brush gently. Also stopped clenching and grinding my teeth. Trying too anyway, didn't realise it was a habit. But, is there anything I can really do about? Other than see a dentist, which I probably should do.

>I went in for braces when I was 13.
>Seven years, several surgeries, bone grafts and $750,000 later - I have perfect teeth! :D

i have an overbite and over the years have been bothering me ever since and wish i did something about it when i was younger

Flossing and regular dentist cleanings help them stop receding

>he doesn't use mse palate expander

What the fuck are you on about

Getting braces led to them finding out parts of my skull were only 2mm thick.
So what should have been simply braces turned out into almost a decade of obscure skull and dental surgeries..

But now my teeth are perfect :D

How did that cost $750,000?

You some amerimutt? How did you afford it? Or are you just saying the figure before insurance came into account

>23
>crooked teeth, upper front and lower back
>poorfag, but finally can afford bracelets if I pull all my savings
Is it worth it to get my teeth fixed? Is it possible at my age?

Imagine falling to the braces memes and ruining your face because your teeth are not 100% straight, there is a reason because chad Cavil don't used braces as a child

Oh no no no

This is bs fear mongering

If anything they actually gave me a chadjaw.

How fucked am I bros? Ignore the acne I’m on masteron and it’s androgenic as fuck

You got lucky

Your dentist is a pussy, all the dentists I know are raking in the dollars taking "emergency only" with everyone being available now

While not actually affecting the shape or structure of your jawbones, straighter teeth can create the effect of a broader and more aesthetically attractive jawline, even when you're not smiling. This effect is a bonus, as there are a number of reasons you might need Invisalign treatment.

November. I had an appointment in early March but they canceled and rescheduled to May which fucking sucks because they know I have 2 cavities under my fillings.

What are the best methods to whiten your teeth? I've tried Crest whitening strips and an LED mouthpiece + custom mouthguard filled with 44% carbamide peroxide and I feel like they haven't gotten that much whiter

Go to the dentist and actually get the plaque removed that have stained your teeth first. After that you can move onto teeth whitening toothpaste but nothing will change until those stains are removed.

I started the whitening right after I got my teeth cleaned. I've also been using whitening toothpaste for about a year now

>tfw cant afford invisalign and i think im not eligible for it

FUCK

seconding this

Those are not 'bad' teeth.

Things you can do RIGHT NOW to improve your oral health:
>mewing
>brushing twice a day
>flossing once a day
>gargle or swish some water around after every meal

Things you can do habitually to improve oral health:
>replace snack and processed foods with fresh fruit and vegetables
>cut out soda entirely
>drink water often
>daily walks and routine exercise
>ensure you get minerals and vitamins needed for good gum and teeth health through good dieting

Things you should do with a professional:
>dental check up every 6 months with professional cleaning
>assess any cavity or gum disease issues
>remove painful wisdom teeth or get braces to fix any crooked teeth/jaw placement that prevents a fully closed bite

Things you should do to force yourself to follow through on these practices:
>smile often

Attached: 53f.jpg (196x250, 7.27K)

If you naturally sleep with your mouth open like I do you'll want to get a strap that keeps your mouth closed whilst you sleep. It stops your teeth drying out and decaying.

Things you can do RIGHT NOW to improve your oral health:
>drink my cum
>drink your own cum
>drink other people's cum

>drink mostly water; rarely drink soda
>floss, use a tongue scraper, brush my teeth with toothpaste and a little bit of antibacterial soap, gargle antiseptic mouthwash TWICE A FUCKING DAY
>still have horrible breath
>check my tongue in mirror multiple times a day to make sure it isn't "white"/doesn't have bacteria. Nope.. clean, pinkish color.
>told by close friends to see if I have tonsil stones
>inspect my own mouth; can't see shit
>mention it to my dentist and hygienist at my next dental checkup. They can't find any stones. No cavities either or oral health issues

isn't this indicative of sleep apnea?
you might need a CPAP, user. even people who aren't overweight can have it

Got my chompers fixed last year. Definitely worth it.

Thanks for the concern, but I suspect it's just my mouth shape (large front teeth). Who knows though? I've convinced myself I've had diabetes, kidney failure, liver problems, tapeworms, low test etc. before just by scaring myself. Maybe your concern will be the valid one.

I'm not trying to scare you, user, just taking a guess about what might cause this for you.

has anyone ever told you that you snore? when you wake up in the morning, do you feel well-rested? do you have a headache? im sure you're usually thirsty due to the dry mouth.

some people can have sleep apnea due to things they're unaware of, like a deviated septum in their nose making breathing more difficult while unconscious.

they also make cpap masks that send the air through your nose, instead of your mouth, so that you can use a chinstrap to keep it closed.

many a year ago, i worked a shitty job at a call center, where people would call in to order CPAPs, masks, tubes, chinstraps, and other supplies. That's the only reason I know this.

>deviated septum
Sheeeit. Think I have this. I'm keeping this tap open to follow up on. Thanks mate.

how else would you show your teeth, Wojackposter?

No problem, user! I hope you'll be alright. I have one as well, and it causes my nose to be slightly crooked, but I was advised against surgery due to it not being "severe enough" in his professional opinion.

In very extreme cases, I think the corrective surgery for this is pretty easy to get through, just unfortunately causes a lot of bruising afterwards around your eyes and face.

Yeah, it's like one nostril has more space than the other. I can breathe well enough normally, but I notice my nose is 'blocked' more often than other people's. I can always breathe very easily when I spread my nostrils but then I look like a nigger. What can you do?

I've got the same crookedness in my nose as well. If this condition causes issues it must only be in sleep.

Fags should hang

It's not gay, it's for oral health. Dumbass.

Why the fuck do ZOGmericucks care about their teeth so much? Is it to take eyes away from your fat guts?
