Since Corona-chan closed all the gyms everyone on Yas Forums has been so depressed. ITT we remember the good times. Post PRs and share recent accomplishments. Remember we're all gonna make it, but we have to wait a few weeks first.
Here's a 545lb deadlift PR I hit 2 hours after my state announced quarantine would start the next day.
Your knees shoot back behind your elbows before the pull even starts. That's a SLDL. Also lose the shoes. You've got 20 more lbs easy.
But you've got a plate on my bench so there you go.
Isaiah Wright
yeah I've got some major technique cleanup to do there. sounds like I need to work on my extending my back at the start so I can squat into it more w/o rounding.
What's wrong with using a belt? I actually don't feel safe without a belt. Isn't a belt EXACTLY for lifting safely and prevent hernia?
Charles Moore
he's trolling. Just watch your form and with or without will not hurt you.
Zachary Moore
It helps brace harder, but doesn't 'fix' posture. If you can do it with belt, but not without, maybe you should start asking question as to how safe it really is. >inb4 anecdotal evidence My group knows lots of people using belts that fucked their shit sub4plate, while most of use do around 4pl8 or higher without belt and without problems.
Not everyone that disagrees with you is a troll, you sound like a leftie with that logic.
Brody Nguyen
There's nothing wrong with belts. They don't cause hernia's but they don't prevent any internal injuries. If you're lifting with bad form everything that's happening on the inside is still happening regardless if they're wearing a belt.
Josiah Rogers
>but we have to wait a few weeks first. this shit is going to last a few months if you don't have a home gym or improvised equipment I really feel bad for you
Eli Gonzalez
Obviously being a weak retard with a belt will fuck you up but those people probably would have fucked themselves up some other way anyway. The fact that literally every single serious lifter uses a belt should make it pretty clear that belts themselves are not bad for you. So if you weren't trolling then you're stupid and should post body.

My state's lockdown is only scheduled until April 7, although since my job is considered essential and it's across the street from my gym which I have a key to, I will still be lifting as usual anyway until someone stops me. My backup plan is a collection of natural stones I have at home.
Evan Cook
270kg/600lb~ deadlift I hit about 6 months ago, PR is 280kg/620lb~ but don't have a video for whatever reason. This was after 2 years of lifting weights in total and maybe 1 year of specific strength training, have natural leverages for powerlifting but got bored of it and am now into weightlifting.
eh nah I'm 28 now and kind of lost the passion for it, besides my squat was only 230kg/510lb~ + bench 140kg/310lb~ so I'd have had to have stacked on a lot more to compete at the 93kg weight class.. and all those cunts in america in that weight class are manlets pounding roids so not worth the hassle.
Justin Ortiz
>scheduled That's the problem. Lots of stuff of "scheduled" for just 2 weeks right now. Everyone is planning for early April, but that's a pipe dream. This is going to get worse every day for a few weeks minimum. If you aren't already, go to the empty gym you have and get used to it.
That's how it is for every country I think. Grocery stores are considered vital, as are shipping, medicine, etc. If these close we are truly fucked. Online should have no real impact besides slower shipping times. That being said, not everyone can afford to throw down a few hundred on equipment. I invested heavily in my gym and right now it'd be the last thing I do. I might buy some cheap ass bench, barbell, and plates if I was in that position. Deadlift off the floor, squat by doing cleans and placing it on my back or some janky setup. Just enough to keep in shape.
Thomas Green
Fat powershitters are disgusting. This guy doesn't even look like he lifts, this is pure suicide fuel now this...this is mmmmmm fuckkkkkkkk look at his ass. Makes you want to pound it into submission little twink boipussy probably tight as fuckkk
Isaiah Brown
post body
Alexander Perez
very impressive. Not something most people on Yas Forums probably do but having tried it myself I can agree that +105lb is really good. Only managed +70 myself.
Kevin Myers
>Fat powershitters are disgusting.
ignores lifting more and juicy af
ok dyel
Christian Butler
I finally hit that 3pl8 squat two weeks ago; just in time, as I've started cutting seriously and the muscle loss from it + quarantine meant that it was then or never to hit it.
Xavier Myers
>This guy doesn't even look like he lifts different people have different goals. he is lifting to lift more next time, you are lifting because you think looks alone will be enough to bang stacy
Henry Clark
Cringey to read this kind of bluepilled reddit tier shit on Yas Forums. Looks are everything, not just for sex but everything in life. The science is fairly robust on this. Looksmaxxing is the most legit usage of a gym. These fat fuck autistic losers are wasting their time.
Jackson Ward
@54902563 global rule 2 you Yas Forums faggot
Isaiah Williams
>My state's lockdown is only scheduled until April 7 Yeah, my Uni was scheduled to reopen a week ago yet here we are, this is going to last at least 2 weeks more that you expect
Luke Lee
> Have pt standards in order to do your job? Lol just work on aesthetics.
You bb fags are retarded. The only reason you can orient your pt around aesthetics is because you are never expected to actually physically perform in any manner. You're just gym thots with shrivelled balls.
Trying to 50 kg for easy doubles, then I will attempt 60 kg. 40 kg is 4 rm at the moment.
Justin Brooks
Why do you look like you don't lift? as in you have you have small muscle mass
Grayson Green
Impressive but your legs lock out way too early compared to your back, which leaves you putting all that stress on your back the last 25% of the rep. Both should lockout almost at the same time.

Eating simple carbs directly before or during a workout can improve your performance slightly as you will high higher blood glucose levels.
Eating carbs after a workout will help to inhibit catabolism and kick start the anabolic processes that help you to repair and build muscle tissue.
Eat fat throughout the day with your meals as it digests slower than carbs and therefore doesn't really have any immediate effects apart from making you feel fuller (satiety).
Aim for something like 40/40/20 (carbs, protein, fats) or 30/40/30 (carbs, protein, fat) for your daily marco percentages.
Make sure you're getting plenty of micro-nutrients in from vegetables and fruits.
Drink plenty of water.
Count your calories in order to accurately gauge how much you are eating.
It's pretty simple.
If you're trying to lose weight, then you can restrict carb intake to between 100-150g a day which helps to keep your metabolism steady.
When blood glucose levels are increased significantly, the pancreas releases insulin which speeds up the process of lipogenesis and subsequently triglyceride synthesis thereby leading to the storage of energy in the form of fat reserves.
However, from what we can tell insulin doesn't really have that much of an effect on non-diabetic and non-obese people, but every little helps and I personally find that restricting carb intake helps.
You look like a 50 year old alcoholic lobsterer in 1902
John Carter
>roiding with boomers lmao @ ur life
Elijah Diaz
>6pl8 >must be roiding tell me how i know you've never left normie globo gyms.
Jeremiah Williams
>6pl8 >6 plate >six plate >260kg >60yo >60 y old >60 year old >sixty year old >260kg at 60yo >not roiding boy, test start dropping halway in your 20's lmao unless they're gigafats like you
That time frame is a lie. Your either on gear or a an arrogant liar.
Levi Adams
Anterior pelvic tilt not good, fix that.
Anthony Jenkins
>here's the boomer roider elite world records to prove that I train with natural boomers who are even stronger
Tyler Stewart
I'd say Rona saved you from snap city.
Connor Moore
Ngl I would love for someone to describe me as such
Carter Lee
Nearing a 4pl8 squat and a 3pl8 bench. It seems I'll never reach my dream of a 2pl8 ohp. I have a home gym so Corona chan is no worry for me, at least in the gains department. Im more worried a trip to snap city is going to send me reeling.
Jason Murphy
I don't have anterior pelvic tilt.
Luis Hughes
Yes you do, and your elbows are almost 90 degree from the floor instead of pointing at it.
Stop ego lifting with poor form, the belt is probably the only thing saving your spine.
Gavin Williams
He's just joking obviously, don't pay too much attention
