Home workout with dumbbells

given that pic related is the most feasible way to train at home that is as close to a gym experience for cheap as possible, what routines are you bros going to be doing now?

my ideas are

push
floor press
nether shrugs
arnold press
front raise
lateral raise
rear delt row
overhead extension

pull (every set of everything supersetted with shrugs since i dont have near enough the weight to maintain trap gains unless im doing sets of like 200)
dumbbell row
nether row
curls
hammer curls
this section is pretty fucked ngl, what should we do for back

legs (calf raises supersetted)
reverse lunges
RDL
weighted single leg hip thrust

extras because im fucking weird
neck curl
neck extension
wrist curl
wrist extension
plate pinch

Just do ppl bro

get a bench

Dumbbell curl, hammer curl!

>lateral raise
I think Jeff said this kills your shoulders over time.

I’m doing pretty similar and i’m on legs rn and this shit fucking sucks, I tried goblet squat too because I feel nothing in my legs at the end of the workout but still nothing.
Would it be better to do 1 slightly heavier goblet or 2 side by side dumbbells for another squat motion?

DB snatch is breddy gut.

Start with some pistol squats, then some bulgarian split squats.

forgot to say I way starting with the bulgarian splits in a goblet position

Nah bench press is pretty obscure I had never even heard of it before

My routine has been:
Push ups
Plank
Chest press
Bicep curl
Overhead press
Squat
Dumbbell flies

I've been doing it everyday, what should I add?

i have a shitty cheap version

Can't forget back

I have a great exercise, called the dumbbell curl. Heard of that?

couple of these and a stack of 10lb plates and you save tons on a rack of dumbbells

1. Bench press
2. Dumbbell curl
3. Pull ups
4. Squats
5. Lunges
6. Overhead press
7. Push ups
8. rest to half, half to top, full curls
9. Pull over

I just do a normal ppl, just with dumbbells
I only use barbell and dumbbell at the gym, so the transition to only dumbbell is easy

This

Does anyone know any workouts i can do with 1 dumbell?

Walk to the shops and buy another

God how did I forget this one. Thanks my mate. I don't have a pull up bar, just dumbells and was going to a near by construction site to do pull ups.

Are these coming from a book or something?

dumbbell pullovers, one-dumbbell front raises, one-arm dumbbell rows, tricep kickbacks, curls, dumbbell sumo squats

unilateral everything
one leg RDL for hams
pistol squats
pretty much everything
find somewhere to do chins

cossack squats
OHP
floor press
one leg calf raise on a step
DB swings like a KB
lunge, reverse lunge, step up, jump squat
chins, curls, rows
laterals, arnold press, bench dips
you can do everything, and BW stuff
get creative

you pretty much can't do any workout where the dumbbell is held vertically

there's a reason screw handles are used most often

DB snatch
turkish get ups

Yes

wrong.

Until a plate slips off and breaks your foot into 7 pieces

Lmao no

You can do almost everything, doing one arm at a time isn’t going to hurt you. In fact I feel it more in my core when I do one arm at a time because you have to work harder to stay balanced.

This is a fantastic thread for a total newbie like me who happens to own a pair of dumbells, especially those instructional pictures.

>Push ups
>Plank
>Chest press
>Bicep curl
>Overhead press
>Squat
>Dumbbell flies
>I've been doing it everyday
Jesus, is that really okay? Pretty sure it's a consensus that you need rest days.

Interested as well, those are great.

back
hip hinge

alright, go ahead and do any real weight with those weak ass clips and see how long the plates stay on

>weak ass clips
get better clamps?

i have filled them to capacity, its fine. if you want you can buy lockjaws.

>sandals

REST

Can I do squats with plates in a backpack instead of a goblet squat? Is there any disadvantage to this approach?

I have that exact same dumbbell. Only one, though. Got it when I was 17.

>he doesn’t wear Jesus Sandals
Ngmi

I use Ironmasters. They're awesome.

You can use your couch as a substitute.
