How much money would it cost to buy squat rack with a barbell and weights included?
Home Gym
go to an online retail site. select desired equipment. click check out on your shopping cart. price magically appears
I just bought brand new and it was less than 1K. Keep in mind I was only able to afford 205lbs of plates. Next month I'll go get more plates so I have at least 365lbs.
I don't know about a combo but if you buy them separately on Amazon
>rack $250
>barbell $120
>300lb in weights $200
Yeah you could spend more on everything especially the barbell but if you're just getting your feet wet do the above
>300lb in weights $200
where did you find this?
300lb of weights is easily $300-400 for the cheapest options
If you want a minimal gym (ie no money for rack)
Just get
>4-6 45 lb plates
>2 25 lb plates
>4 10 lb plates
>2 5 lb plates
>2 2.5 lb plates
>Horse stall mat
>decent barbell
>dip/pull up bar station
>dip belt
Instead of back squats you can substitute hack squats
Instead of bench you can do weighted dips
This set up and these exercises are basically what I'm working with now that the chinks have shut down my gym
What's up with that guy does he have corona?
About 3 fiddy
Yes, they had to drain the fluid from his lungs

this but it's a normal barbell
>that necessary pullup dip machine
c'mon bruh
what's wrong with it, looks great to me
Because this will do the exact same thing for 50x less the price and space?
Opinions on grabbing one of these instead of a rack?
nowhere. he's also wrong on the price of the barbell and rack.
why dont u look it up, u dumbshit
those pull up dip stations cost nearly as mich as a rack, you can also get oly bars cheaper than trap bars.
No safety bars in case you fail a squat
/bred
You can check local resale sites like craigslist or facebook for cheaper deals but if you ever plan to move real weight I wouldn't gamble on that shit. I've passed up racks with a bar and 300 lb in weight for like $250 because I didn't know if I could trust the rack or the bar.
Anyone know a minimum price for equipment that can handle 700+ lbs? Just power rack, bench, and barbell+weights.
Do what this user is doing. 10 years ago I bought a pair of squat stands for $50, then a bar, a couple plates and a bench. Kept buying weights and gradually upgrading and now I have a fully stocked mini gym in my 1 bedroom apartment. Times like this when everything’s closed I just watch movies and lift weights all day. Best investment of my life.
If you get this shit and fail a bench rep it will literally kill you
The levels of cope ITT are unreal
They don’t though, I got a great one for 120 that also has handles for leg raises and push ups.
shut the fuck up, child
Suck my dick faggot
about $500
Whoa there moneybags. Try searching more than one website before clicking “Checkout” next time. I got one for literally $35, new
I have a Rogue Monster Lite rack, a 20kg Stainless Ohio Power Bar, and a set of calibrated rogue plates. I had a shitty rack before that I kept knocking over in the middle of squatting. It won't be cheap, but you'll never have to replace any of it.
My advice
Buy nice
or buy twice.
This is horseshit. I got one for $35 that works perfectly normal. Do you work at a Walmart or something?
Yeah, he works at Walmart
Kek
you're the one too fucking stupid to know about dumping plates or rolling the bar off.
You’re retarded. Go fuck yourself.
Add a barbell and two dumbbells and that's my homegym.

FLOOR. PRESS.
The CAP Racks can now be purchased with safeties, so this is a no brainer. Here’s your shopping list:
CAP Rack $120
Safeties $30
Titan Bar $110
Collars $15
CAP “300 lb” set $230 (it’s really like 255 lbs and a junk barbell)
Total cost: $505
You honestly don’t need anything more than this to do an effective weight training program. Options would include resistance bands if you can’t do pull-ups and some playground rubber mats for deadlifts.
I should add that the “300 lb” weight set is should be available at your local big box sporting goods store. They usually have sales that bring it down to $200. Mine is Academy Sports and Outdoors.
I got an Olympic 300 lb set on sale at Dunham's last year.
you can get good deals if you check online sites every now and then. I bought a squat rack and bench for $40 off facebook marketplace
that's what I use and it's fine if you know your limits and have a spotter for max attempts
>don't use clips
>tilt bar to side
Also wood rings for dips.
I’m stuck in my small flat, 50m^2.
Not sure what my best options are. Maybe some dumbbells?
that is useless if you do weighted pullups, you're just going to rip a panel off the wall. and the range of motion for dips is laughable
honestly do you even lift
lmao'ing @ all these retards who will spend shitloads of bucks on homegym equipment just because they think they will permanently lose gains in the next couple of weeks otherwise
no safeties and no pullups.
Do you have it? The safety looks very short, but maybe it's enough.
There are these great sites where you can buy stuff like squat racks online. Maybe you should check the prices there instead of asking for opinions on a Ugandan egg collecting forum.
I have that CAP rack and safety set up. They are fairly short. When I squat, I can only really take a half step back when unracking to be over them. Feels strange to me but it gets the job done. Works great for bench.
I'm looking at this thing, it's just 90 pounds. A proper rack would also give me a place to do pullups and a pulley system, but cost ~300-400 more.
OTOH this is something I'll be using for years if not decades, so might as well invest in it properly from the start?
Dont buy cheap junk off amazon, you can get a decent rack, 300 barbell weight set and bench for like $900 at dicks sporting goods
how can I replicate pic related by buying separate parts?
it looks useful, but I can't attach anything else to it than the straight bar already provided in the product...
It's a wire, a pulley and 2 carabineer. Then 2 crimps for the cable in each end.
