>The concept of the wristwatch goes back to the production of the very earliest watches in the 16th century. Elizabeth I of England received a wristwatch from Robert Dudley in 1571, described as an armed watch. The oldest surviving wristwatch (then described as a bracelet watch) is one made in 1806 and given to Joséphine de Beauharnais.[21] From the beginning, wristwatches were almost exclusively worn by women, while men used pocket watches up until the early 20th century.[22]

Is there any point in owning a smartwatch that emulates a traditional watch?

No

you could get a seiko for that price why'd you do this to yourself
It looks like crap to people who have watch autism and like a womans watch to normies
It doesn't even tell time who tf designed this crap

You better be trolling.

What? I have a newer model too but wear my throwback occasionally.

Ok, replying to me doesn't mean you're not trolling, just that you might be commited to it, but I'll take the bait anyway just in case.

This huge-ass watch looks like slave shackle on your tiny wrist and Auschwitz-tier forearm. You should not only not wear it, but avoid exposing your arms altogether until you bulk up.

Ok. Not all of us were high school jocks who their parents forced into sports at a young age. We all started somewhere.

Then don't fucking wear an ultra-jock watch.

>wearing a watch in 2020 when you can just check your phone
Ok boomers

Based timeless watch. Switch out for a nato and is perfect for poorfags

I just want a goddamn wristwatch to go with the suit. People seem to have started wearing diving watches for some ungodly reason.

Pic related. I use the stopwatch and countdown function all the time at work and the negative display makes it less trashy looking. Fabric wristband doesn't stink and it's super cheap. Literally bought half a dozen of these things.

Why are men afraid of wearing watches? Everyone raised without a brother will think theyre gay in denial anyways.

>work in high security building where I'm not supposed to wear a smartwatch
>Have one of those fossil hybrid watches to to track steps through the day.

Pretty nice watch desu

>ddduh uh if you dont wear a chronometer the size of the big ben on ur arm to cope with your tiny wrists are you really even a man?!

Skagen Falster 3.

I ordered a Garmin Vivoactive 3, it was on sale 140 bucks, hope i didnt fuck up?

Ehh, I never really liked the idea of wearing a watch that purely told the time, but this can do things like show phone notifications and time rest breaks at the gym so I like it.

Surprised at the lack of fitness trackers in this thread, but I would lean towards the opinion they're a waste of time/money so maybe Yas Forums is into something.
