CARNIVORE GENERAL

Every other thread about the stupid fucking virus. You people are fookin sheep.

Anyway... Tomorrow makes 2 months of being a strict carnivore.

Fasting is so fucking easy on this diet. I'm at 48 hours since my last meal and I still feel great. Burning fat like a machine. Gonna break my fast and throw down on a big ass ribeye tonight, though.

In my research I came across Dr. Paul Saladino. He has some really good material for anyone looking to learn more. He gets into technical stuff but breaks it down it extremely well.

He's an advocate of the "nose-to-tail" based diet, where you make use of the entire animal (like we used to do not so long ago). Everything you need to THRIVE is right there. Some people try doing just steak, and some people do well with that, but he's pretty convinced you should be eating more than just the muscle meat&fat.

Corporations are looking to push plant based bullshit on everyone because highly processed foods are highly profitable, not because it's actually good for anyone or the environment.

Come at me, bros.

On my last jar of raw kefir that I bought a couple weeks ago. Literally haven't heard a peep from my stomach since the day after I started one quart a day and have farted like twice

Been carny for like 5 months, before that I used to try to fast on a normal diet and it was hell. Right now I haven’t eaten in 3 days and I feel great.

Why would anyone want to embark upon a gain killing weightloss diet?

You mean bloat killing

>make use of the entire animal
Maybe avoid nerve tissue. Especially with beef and pork, you don't want CJD.

Check out youtube channel OriginOfEnergy

Is dairy included in this? I eat meat, eggs, milk, whey, cottage cheese and some cheddar. I like dairy.

Been making my own raw milk kefir for 8 months and my shits are perfect, don’t smell, and also hardly ever fart and when I do fart they don’t smell anymore

Try and get raw dairy
It's a completely different product from pasteurized dairy

Bump

Gain killing? I've cranked the gain to 10, if anything.

I'm barely working out and somehow gaining muscle while burning fat. I may technically still be losing weight overall (down about 12 pounds since starting) but it's for the better. hp to weight ratio is going up.

This isn't about vanity for me, even though I'm on my way to being shredded. I already have a hot wife, so that's not even a factor. It's about overall health and longevity... and I'm thriving like I never have before.

The shit is fookin' unreal m8.

I sadly haven't had milk in over 10 years. Not even sure if I can still tolerate lactose, although cheese has never seemed to bother me. I thought about introducing some hard cheeses at some point. Raw milk isn't off the list of possibilities either...

post body

I going to have to give that a shot.

>somehow gaining muscle
Lifts? How advanced are you?

I'm closing in on 2/4/5/5 and I'm very nervous about cutting carbs/calories as much as I want to reduce bloat.

post body

You don't have to cut carbs. The main angle of the carnivore diet is that animal flesh and fats are essential.

Fruit but more optimally carb gels or raw milk have loads of sugar for performance and muscle fullness.

But they should be used periworkout to enhance performance. No need to be eating Jay Cutler sized plates of white rice 4 hours after your workour

Paul Saladino is pretty great. I watch his YouTube channel and podcasts. Haven't gotten his book yet.

I have been on carnivore for about 8 months, eating pretty much only ground beef and steak. Cured my clinically diagnosed depression and my subjective anxiety. It also improved my skin problems.

I recently had some dermatitis return and coincidentally saw a video from Elliott Overton's EONutrition channel where he says gluconeogenesis from protein consumption can cause a biotin and riboflavin deficiency on a carnivore diet, leading to skin problems.

So just in the past few days I'm starting to eat more like Paul Saladino advocates. Added egg yolks, liver, bone broth, and beef suet. Reduced my muscle meat consumption. Aiming for high fat, moderate protein, low carb.

Not very advanced at all. Pic related.

I'm turning 40 in a few months and have had AI issues for 20 miserable fookin' years... not making excuses but I fell off the wagon a long ass time ago. I've made a few attempts at hanging on over the years, but I feel like I'm actually on to something now.

I've only been to the gym twice so far, and one of the times I ended up with the worst case of DOMS I've ever had - shit was severe and lasted 5 days. I should have eased back into things but I felt really good at the time. Just doing some simple body weight stuff at home mostly though.

I also wonder once I actually start hitting things hard (if at all), how much I'll need carbs. Right now I've gone slow and steady and don't seem to run out of steam, but if I go too quick I will. I have all day energy like never before though - I actually got hyper the other day. (40 year old man getting hyper like a child, but without sugar or drugs. talk about a strange feeling.) Not sure how things will work out once I advance. I had blood sugar issues before I started, so I'm still avoiding carbs especially until I get my bloodwork done next month.

>longevity
Hope you're not eating red meat, user...

This makes sense to me.

Fuck off, vegan liar.

Carni diet is unironically one of the smartest things I've done in a while. So far this stuff is legit as balls.

haha..... right on, brother.

>Carnivore
>OP image shows non meat items

why does the body require more calories for weight maintenance when not consuming carbs?

Smaller insulin spike and your body doesn't have to go back and forth between two different sources of energy.

This you have anything outside of meat, eggs, and dairy it's not carnivore.

(I cheat with fruit.)

It's an "impossible burger", you fuckwit. Lrn2irony

citation needed

also, filename.

Fruit seems like the reasonable choice...

How the fuck would I know what one looks like?

why don't you just add some carbs.

Or just eat normally like your body is suppose to instead of doing fad diets that’ll fuck up your body instead

that makes no sense.
that should mean less energy is wasted switching thus less energy required.

Based af science right there, babe

it's not a controversial opinion, it's fact, sorry you're ignorant.

Oh, I dunno. The fact it's loaded with garbage, and labeled 'impossibly healthy" in a carnivore thread. I think that would be a good tip off.

I can't fault you too much though... clearly the corporate fuckwads behind it are fooling people.

"eat normally" like your modern day diet tells you to? Mcdonalds on every corner and a grocery store on every block?

Put yourself in nature without all these modern advancements.... and I bet you wouldn't be looking for wheat grass to graze on.

This 'fad' diet is how the human race evolved from apes.

How about you eat normally, fool.

You're right, I'm absolutely ignorant to your claim and I'm requesting you cite a source for you information so I can educate myself.

Sorry you're stupid.

if you've seen anything about IF or Keto you should be well aware of this. it's one of their selling points.
can't be bothered to spoonfeed you retard, you have no answer to my question.

>loaded with garbage
pickles, cheese, onion, bread and lettuce are garbage now? it just looks like a hamburger, how the fuck would i tell the difference?

Liver has carbs.

Mitochondrial uncoupling.

I'm not the one making the claim and I fail to see the relevance. Good for you though?

Low carb/ketogenic diets cannot support high intensity training, That is a fact.
Carbs are also anabolic. That is a fact.

what about heart health? can you link some peer reviewed research about preventing/reversing atherosclerosis with a carnivore diet? as far as I know that's been done with a whole foods plant based diet, but I'm sure someone will show me some peer reviewed research showing how a carnivore diet can do the same. I mean, it's not like you'd be retarded enough to follow this diet otherwise lol, you have to have some peer reviewed data.

so wasted energy to produce heat?

The standard American diet IS plant based lmao

It's the bun, fries and cola making you sick and not the beef

also if would be cool if someone could name the trait that animals lack which, if absent in humans, would morally justify unnecessarily killing them.

>P1) If your view affirms a given human is trait-equalizable to a given nonhuman animal while retaining moral value, then your view can only deny the given nonhuman animal has moral value on pain of P∧~P.

>P2) Your view affirms a given human is trait-equalizable to a given nonhuman animal while retaining moral value.
>C) Therefore, your view can only deny the given nonhuman animal has moral value on pain of P∧~P

>This argument is a simple Modus Ponens. Put simply: If A then B. A, therefore B. While the premises (P1 and P2) may be challenged, the conclusion must follow if both premises are true. The argument is designed so as to channel any meaningful challenge into P2, specifically encouraging the interlocutor to "Name the trait" which would cause human beings to lose moral value if changed. P1 is virtually impossible to challenge, although some specific (commonly theological) metaphysics may attempt to do so.

>The standard American diet IS plant based lmao
>It's the bun, fries and cola making you sick and not the beef

I'm talking about a WHOLE FOODS plant based diet, meaning you avoid refined foods like sugar, candies, etc.

Attached: whole foods lol.png (1823x211, 36.91K)

Who is the lead researcher, vegan peter salama?

Attached: 1581186323283.png (1280x800, 769.92K)

>plant-based
>highly processed

you're a retard if you eat highly processed vegan products just as much as if you eat highly processed animal products, non organic meat that's been jacked up on all sorts of shit and that eat and live in shit.

Yeah you got us. Vegans are obviously thriving.

Attached: Thriving Vegans 11.jpg (1300x1800, 1.23M)

can you provide the peer reviewed research showing the effects of a carnivore diet on preventing/reversing atherosclerosis?

Vague terms. At what stage of processing is a good refined?

Just eat some fish and eggs, drink some raw milk and be done with it.

>kills thousands of insects which also share these traits
>kills thousands of animals which also share these traits
>kills thousands of plants which also share these traits
imagine being a vegan and thinking you were doing the morally superior thing.

Do you think anybody here is retarded enough to believe ((((your joke vegan research?))))

Just eat your rabbit food and be happy. We're not joining the antifa diet club.
