For people who don't see their elderly relatives often it's probably fine. But I live with my mum currently, and my mum sees my grandma frequently. So if I got it then it would easily be passed on.
What do you think? I don't want to kill my family members.
>IMPACT ON GYM >NOT FITNESS How is it possible to be as fucking stupid as you?
Oliver Wright
I go to the gym every morning and usually there's anywhere between 30-40 people. This morning only 5 people were there including me... It felt so surreal it freaked me out a bit. What the fuck am I going to do if this dumbass chink disease shuts down my gym? But, seriously if you think it would be easily passed on I would either stop the gym or stop seeing your grandma personally I would stop the latter because you can have it and spread it 1-2 weeks before feeling symptoms and you could pick it up from anywhere.
Wyatt Perry
All gyms in Denmark have been shut down, fucking chinks being manlet gains-goblins
>stop seeing your grandma It's through my mother that I think it could pass on, because I live with my mum, and she sees my grandma regularly. Maybe I should just ask my mum to not see my grandma.
Like I say, I don't care about me getting it, but the elderly can die from getting this illness.
>you can have it and spread it 1-2 weeks before feeling symptoms Is it that long? But yeah that's what I've suspected although I can't find that specific length of time quoted anywhere, but you're probably right.
I googled that to check and it looks like you're right. Same in Norway.
>Norway closed all schools, nurseries and universities, gyms, swimming pools and buffet restaurants, and banned sports events >In Denmark, authorities called on shoppers to avoid excessive stockpiling, schools and universities were closed, and indoor events with more than 100 participants were banned. Officials also encouraged bars and nightclubs to close and said libraries, gyms, and museums would close from Friday walesonline.co.uk/news/uk-news/nightclubs-shops-gyms-pools-shut-17916424

>gyms closed in denmark Fucks sake. How about Sweden then? I assume its about the same? I'm supposed to go there for work next sunday and stay for a few months. Right now I've only seen one article mentioning some gym chain called SATS that has shut all of its down. The one I usually go to while I'm there is in a small town owned by an alright bloke, but he's probably going to be forced to close it down as well if this shit continues. God I fucking hate bugmen. Tempted to decline the job for my gains.
All gyms in my country are closed for the next 2 weeks. Good thing I still have a set of weights that is almost as much as I use in the gym.
Blake Bell
>most places closing gyms for 2 weeks What are the chances they'll be reopened after the two weeks? I doubt it for some reason. China should have been nuked.
Lincoln Green
No idea about Sweden.
Are you in Denmark or Norway, since they've done it? Also Qatar apparently is closing gyms.
Just wondering if any other countries are doing it.
Who the fuck knows.
I give no shits about getting it personally because I'm young and I'll easily survive it, but I just worry about passing it on to elderly members of my family.
Eli Watson
I work from home and havent left the house in over 6 weeks (trust me i hate it). My bf works at a gym and he came home one day afterwork and i got sick with the nastiest fever and flu i have ever gotten in my life. HE didnt get sick at all.
But im pretty sure he came home with the sickness on him. Then my dad got sick from me, but he got over the sickness within 4 days. It took me 10 days to get over it. My dad is 54.
I cant say whether it was corona or not, but this happened about 3 weeks ago.
Cooper Young
If you get the virus then you’ll lose more gains than if you just did calisthenics
Oliver Gonzalez
>I give no shits about getting it personally because I'm young and I'll easily survive it lmao. amazing how many retards think this. The virus is new and its long term effects relatively unstudied. Why risk it just so you can go a shitty gym. Just take a couple weeks off dude.
Samuel Hall
Norway is about the same as Denmark in to gyms from what my Norwegian friend told me. Scandinavia is pretty much a gains free zone as of right now. Sweden I'm not sure about, but I'll read up on it and get back to you
Colton Green
Slovakia. We pretty much have most facilities closed with the exception of grocry stores, drug stores and restaurants. It went into effect this morning and it's planned to be in effect for at least 2 weeks, we'll see afterwards.
Cooper Green
All the gyms where i live are shut down by the government :((((((((((. I'll have to return to calisthenics for a while
Brayden Wright
t. seething homegymlets
Bentley Mitchell
coronavirus is a massive meme just ignore it and carry on. the main issue is retards hoarding everything so you will need to keep a couple of weeks food in your freezer in case your supermarkets run out
Landon Thomas
Sweden is apparently fucked aswell. How'll we keep our gains brehs.. Translation is roughly: "gym giant SATS closes gyms due to corona"
It can be anything really. I sometime get a fever just by meeting large group of new people. It's like my imunnee system needs to reconfiigure for them. You basically have a 2nd hand experience with meeting those people, so it was only a matter of time.
Ian Rivera
No, stay at home
Brayden Butler
This, while bad to catch it Im more concerned about family member catching it from me. Especially my parents which are both over 60. So far even if we triple the death toll, it's still less than annual death due to flu related issues. We'll see what will happen in the next month once it gets warmer, if the spread slows down or remains unchanged.
Charles Moore
Swede here. I lift in a cellar gym and we're open as usual. Roiders at my gym have been worrying about the AAS raws from China being contaminated with Corona, lol
You reckon it's that bad? What country are you in?
Exactly, I don't give a fuck about me, it's my elderly relatives I'm worried about.
Pic related, in 80+ year olds, the death rate is estimated at 15% if you catch it. That's pretty high. My grandmother is in that group, and my mother, who I live with, sees her regularly. So I could pass it to my mother who could pass it to my grandmother.
Yeah I live with my gran so I don't want to catch is and give it to her. She needs daily care as it is. If she caught any flu/cold it wouldn't be good, nevermind this fucking one.
Home workout and washing hands often, hoping for it to pass.
Leo Phillips
>GYMS CLOSED IN MY COUNTRY TOO NOW
And yet I honestly can't stop laughing at the absurdity of this whole situation. Some retarded ching-chong ding dong tried making skank ass bat soup and now the whole world is falling on its ass. Responsible for millions of pounds in lost gains.
And of course the flu has a vaccine, dunno if your gran has it, but many people do.
While COVID doesn't.
Yeah it's dumb, China needs to regulate its meat industry way better.
Bentley Rivera
This.
Friend of mine and I both met with our DnD group, and about five days later, both came down with a nasty flu. He got over it in two weeks, I got pneumonia from it and am still recovering almost three months later. It's been rough. Whatever covid19 can do, it's not as bad as what I had. I'm staying active. My family has already quarantined themselves and gone full autismo about the whole thing, so even if one of em gets it, they'll be just fine
Brandon Lopez
trim the hair in your armpit, you disgusting manlet mutt
Josiah Perez
>my Grandma May die Holy shit, you do realize we're all gonna die sooner or later?
Nathan Clark
>The virus is new and its long term effects relatively unstudied. Lmao corona class flus have been around for decades, and while this one is particularly virulent its symptoms and effects are nearly identical to other corona class flus. Sure it's possible there's some unknown long-term effects but it's less likely.
Easton Myers
The main goal is to not overload medical resources while the virus runs its course.
Henry Anderson
Most of my family is dead, my mom tho she better be ok in these times :(
Thomas Walker
Do a heavy set of 20 on squats every other day, and do tons of rows and heavy presses on the days in between. Finish off with some sprints if you can. This will strengthen your immune system.
Matthew Bennett
I had the same feeling but it was during mid February. Turns out that it was just empty because it was midday on a weekday but I was a little spooked because I thought corona chan was kicking in for everyone
Nolan Gutierrez
dont believe the chink bat lie, thats just a cover up
Even if you survive, it is more likely it will permanently damage your respiratory system.
Alexander Rogers
Yes but do you want to be standing at your grandmother's funeral realising you're the one who killed her?
Cooper Robinson
This level of autism.
Andrew Wright
This virus seems to be pretty deadly to old people though, see here, 15% of 80+ year olds who get it, die from it: I'm just worried about passing it to elderly relatives, I don't want to kill my relatives
Luis Collins
What do you guys think - if there's a risk of you passing it to an elderly relative, should you skip the gym?
My gym just limited people indoor max 100. but will stay open for now. im morning crew anyway so we good
Jacob Robinson
I see the Chinese defense force is on early.
Caleb Lopez
No.
Jack Anderson
It likely originated in the US as a bioweapon

You should card about getting it. Even if the risk of dying is low it still has much higher morbidity than flu and could cause permanent damage to your lungs, kidneys, and reproductive system. And when the hospitals get overrun in a few weeks young people will start dying too because they can’t get even the most basic treatments. There are nowhere near enough hospital beds, respirators, or healthcare workers for what’s coming. You’re basically playing Russian roulette and saying “well I’m not worried most of the chambers are empty and even if I get shot I’ll probably only lose a kidney or get a collapsed lung”
Jack Torres
It doesn’t matter whether it was man made or not. Makes literally no difference at this point.
Ethan Richardson
For that dear lord, we need to stop this Coronavirus Rumor and Disease, everywhere. We need to save the world until this next week or in three more weeks.
Pray for a miracle if the Coronavirus is lone gone.
Liam Allen
why would heavy bench presses and rows strengthen your immune system
this is some broscience bullshit
Luke Collins
What the fuck do you even do then at this point? It's likely 80% of the americans will get it, is it better to get it now when the immediate panic sets in to reserve a hospital bed or wait until you get it 2 months from now and hope that society hasn't collapsed.
Gavin Richardson
Saw some article mentioning that as well. Guess its just the big chains right now. Only a matter of time until others follow I reckon.
>Swede here. I lift in a cellar gym and we're open as usual. Yeah, I'm hoping its gonna be the same where I go. Its not too big of a town, so there's a chance. Guess I'll email the owner a few days before I'm supposed to leave, if the ferries or whatever are still in action at that point. Just got back from my home gym in Estonia and they are closed starting tomorrow. Also a very small town. Might as well leave then. Fucking chinks.
Chase Hill
I live in Shanghai. My gym has been closed there since January 26th ish.
I came back to Canada and the gym isn't closed, but hearing morons in my gym talking about it has me concerned with how arrogant North Americans are.
Honestly everything should just be shutting the fuck down for two - three weeks but your jewish masters won't stand for it.
Austin Brown

>IT'S MANMADE >You're talking shit >WELL IT DOESN'T MATTER
Carson Morgan
The risk of young people dying is INCREDIBLY LOW, see the picture here: I'm in my 20s and from that graph it looks like the death rate for my age is like 0.2% or something absurd. So ~99.8% of 20-29 year olds who get it will survive.
I'm only concerned about my elderly relatives like my grandma. She's in the 80+ category, and the death rate there is just under 15%.
Eli Sullivan
I'm proud of the UK for once. The gyms won't close! My gym just sent us an email that they're not closing and are increasing the cleaning. The gym is insanely empty because of all the scared normies. It's heaven in there.
What do you expect? People to avoid the gym for half a year? Based corona isn't going away any time soon, if at all. If you stop now you might as well give up completely.
Aaron Nelson
HOME GYM MASTER RACE
Tyler Bennett
They don't, on the contrary your immune system is usually suppressed after a hard workout, because your body needs to allocate resources to repair the damaged tissue.
Robert Campbell
Litteraly just hopped on to ask yall this
What the fuck are you gonna do when your gym gets closed because of those fucking yellow nigger chinks?
I don't have a fucking home gym. What the fuck you gonna do, you gonna let all your gainz fade and start over next year? You gonna start doing calisthenics in the park in a pathetic attempt to halt your fading gainz, like a fucking idiot? HUH?!
