So I did Bulgarian Split Squats the other day and nearly vomited and passed out after it. What was that about?

my left side "abs" are stronger than my right side. rest of body is average or weaker than everyone I know aside from abnormally strong core. just started working out maybe a month ago.
what do? are Russian twists enough?
I'm self quarantined at the home gym with a ton of TP, water, food, milk, whey, soap, and weed. Going to stay in here 24/7 until all this blows over and just lift every day. See ya bros
what the hell man
and you came up with all that in just under 2 minutes?
You can try weighted lunges and it's just as exhausting.
Not fit related but this is the only board worth posting on
>be me
>workmate from years ago messages out of the blue
>qt3.14. We got on great. Weird but good personality
>we exchange pleasantries and chatch up a little via text
>she says " you didn't get drunk messages over Christmas did you ?"
>I say " no but now I'm curious "
She says " Haha don't worry it was nothing naughty, was just sentimental and missing you"
>then asks "when will you he back I miss seeing you"
>I have been away for several years traveling
>I tell her I am back and have been for a while
>she seems happy, says " yay! Let's catch up this weekend!"
I haven't replied. I did have a crush on her back in the day but things haven't changed now. I have a long term gf. We are happy. Is this a romantic or a friendly meet up ? I am a bad judge of these situations
>been doing stretches, squats, pushups and improvised core stuff as a newbie skeleton
>now iliopsoas or whatever hurt whenever I squat
>abdomen is incredibly sore and weak, I can hardly get up if I lie down
Is this just overexertion? I've been taking it easy for a few days but there has been no improvement.
Sounds like your shits all fucked up brah
is it worth going to the gym with all the corona cases in my city?
Is there an easy way to make a WEBM from a YouTube video for a technologically illiterate retard
> Not fit related but this is the only board worth posting on
Trash like you ruined this board
(just kidding it was always crap)
Does being horny while exercising help or harm gainz?
I'm taking maybe like1/4-1/2 boner, not rock hard.
Depends solely on your intentions
Intentions are to see her. No sex or kissing
I did truly value our friendship. We were very similar
You gargantuan faggot I've been here longer than you.
how do start with pullups if you cant even do 1 lol
Do you have access to an assisted pull up machine ?
>push
DB Bench, Incline DB, DB OHP, Tricep Extension, Dips
>pull
Curls, DB Row, Lat Pull, Pullups
>legs
Leg Press, Calf Press
>abs
Dragon Flag, Hanging Leg raise
What good assistance exercises am I missing?
Helps, high test, unless your boner ruins your ROM.
I have been having alot of fucking gas recently fellas. I read the reasons why online and they say it's mostly caused by dairy, vegetables and fruits, oats and shit like that. I can't cut those out of my diet. am i fucked bros?
Jump. Negatives everyday. A couple weeks and you will do your first pullup
Is 1/2/3/4 supposed to be a goal for singles or for reps?
I want to switch to a bro split but i'm worried I won't make gains having less rest, using lighter weights and not being subjected to the psychological stress of heavy weights
How do I combine the two?
When can I switch to a split routine?
I've been doing full body 3x a week for a month now, and would much prefer doing a 4 day upper/lower split.
Can I switch now, or do I need to stick with full body till I stop responding to it?
generally for x5 because most Linear Progression strength programs will have you progress with 3 or 5 x5.
1RM stuff is generally used to calculate your program when you're an intermediate wanting to progress from your first program.
It is useless goal within itself.
Even when you get to 1/2/3/4 for 5 you'll likely be disappointed with how DYEL you still look and will want to do a hypertrophy routine straight after like I did.
use bands
Went today to the gym and i couldn't beat my record. On Monday i was able to squat 105kgs and bench 70kg but today i could barely do 100 and 65. In the last 2 days i slept lass than 5-6 hours....this might be the cause?
that sounds like it, sometimes you just have bad days. Nothing to worry desu
Thanks bro
Yeah that's why I asked. I'm at 1/2/3/4 now in that case. Looks like I'll just have to aim for 2/3/4/5
Other than burning more calories, is there any benefit to doing regular cardio if you already do HIIT?
You aren't going to break records every day brah. Do your best today and don't worry about yesterday's shortcomings.
This may be a really dumb question.
Is there a reason ppl is always in the order push-pull-legs besides it just being the standard?
I've been working out with friends for a while on mondays, wednesdays and fridays doing ppl (so PXPXLXX), but recently I've started working out alone on tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays as well so now I do PLPPLPX.
So far it's working well but is it not optimal in some way?
I recently started getting some clavicle pain and I'm wondering if it's from dips? I just started going them again and I'm not sure what else would cause it. Or would bad clean form cause it because I've had to clean my OHP because no racks were available and I might have fucked up form.
I'm tired as fuck, my program doesn't have deload weeks. I'm not even tired from lifting actually but from a super long hike, what I do?
I seriously want to be a millionaire. Here is my new lifestyle I'm going to run until I die.
Study Monday through Friday for 5 hours
Keep 9-5 job week days and work OT on Saturdays
Save up enough to buy a low cost rental property outright sub $200,000 or put 20% down
>if 20% down then acquire mortgage and pay down as fast as I can whole staying afloat. Pay off mortgage in 3 years.
Exercise 3 hours a day
Basically my day forever is
>0300 wake up/study
>0600 work
>1520 school
>1700 study
>2100 Exercise
>2330 sleep
Critique
So im getting pretty close to 200lb(90kg) 3x5 squat but noticed my squats are fully parallel but are around what pic related is.
Should i start over and do strictly parallel/bellow, or just keep doing what im doing as long as its not going to fuck something up?
Also please critique my work out regimin

Why am I stalling at 35kg OHP? Will this go away? I'm doing SL with chin-ups and dips
- copy the video url
- google "download from youtube", pick a page and follow the instructions. These sites seem to stop working after a while, so you might have to get a browser add-on instead.
- go to github.com
That's basically it. The converter is literally called "webm for retards", so you should be able to figure it out.
Got patellar tendonitis, it actually starts hurting when I don't squat for a while. Physio told me to use it even more. Got antibiotics or whatever and apparently it should get fixed like that. Any guys with experience that continuid working out and got it up to speed again?
same user, same barrier atm on sl
we'll get stronger
Anyone with knowledge care to comment on this program given to my buddy by his giant police academy trainer
Google doms. New lifters or people coming back from a long break get severe doms at first.
Dont start over completely. Do the heaviest weight you can with proper depth
what other user said, tone the weight down somewhat to the heaviest you can do with good form. I was in the same position on SL a while back, got to 87.5kg and realised my stance was too narrow and I wasn't hitting parallel. Deloaded to 60 and worked on form. I suggest you do something similiar.
Will do, thanks.
Heart and lungs health, regular cardio is the best way to ttsin that
The best routine is the one you can be consistent with user. There doesn't seem to be any issue here though if your a beginner a ULXULX or a ULULULX could work better
It's probably your dips. Check your form on both though. Don't let yourself get injured
Take a deload and hop back or tough it out
np user ^^
Does eating a lot of protein raise your temperature or something?
Every time I eat 50-100g more protein that usual I start sweating more and feel super hot whereas I'd normally be cold
I have a squat rack at home with no safety rails.
If I were to fail on my squats, what should I do? Just let it roll off my back?
how the FUCK do people hold their food down on leg day? I always feel like im going to throw up at the start and then give up
Yes, I would put some rubber floor mats on the floor to soften the landing. You are lifting on a concrete floor right?
Yeah. I have exclusively bumper plates, so I don’t think mats would be necessary then.
Oh then what are you worried about?
Go pussy im on my way now and live in a highly populated metropolitan area
Mostly safety and injury. Not sure what the proper protocol is for dismounting the bar.
What ingredients are important for a pre workout. I used to take c4 years ago but stopped out of fear of losing my hair. Not scared of creatine anymore because my dad and grandparents all have a full head of hair. So in addition to creatine what should i be looking for in a preworkout
Just dump it and run for your life
Been gone for a year. WTF does "mog" mean?
>a year
It has been used with its current definition for at least 4 years now. And 8 years ago it was used with a different definition.
why are you lying, newfag?
I feel the same after doing split squats but I noticed that any exercise that includes good glute activation absolutely destroys you.
Do full body for about 6 months, add accessory work, volume, sets, etc. as you progress. After that go for a split.
No
It's shit. If you can go 6x per week, find a good PPLxPPL split.
Anyone got Jeff Nippard's new full body routines? Hook me up
