I don't claim to be an expert because all I've done is flip through a handful of articles, but can a combination of spicy food and caffeine unironically help you increase your TDEE?
This study indicates that calorie burn can increase by 7-13 when consuming caffeine. Potentially consuming caffeine at frequent intervals (as I often do) could increase overall expected TDEE from roughly 2062 to 2262 each day.
Spicy foods show a similar burn, due to increased energy used to digest them.
In addition to both of these, consuming coffee (a hot beverage) would also include caffeine and keep body temperature up- hypothetically you could increase your overall calorie burn from around 2000 to 2400 simply by eating spicy food and coffee.
The downside is obviously that you'd probably have constant diarrhea, though hypothetically since your body wouldn't properly absorb the nutrients you would also be reducing your overall calorie intake.
This sounds based, but why don't you just cut out caffeine so you don't have this question?
