I do something pretty crazy. I'll try to describe it here:
>cook my own food, only go out to eat on special occasions
>weigh my food
>calculate calories and macros based on weight
>eat lots of protein
>weigh myself at the same time every day and keep a log of my weight
>if I stop losing weight, reduce total calories while keeping protein constant
Weird, right?
I’m eating only one 1000 Cal meal per day and its going well so far. Its surprisingly easy.
unconventional, you say?
have you tried sticking your fingers in your throat and vomit until your teeth fall off

why not cut a limb or two?
Did you work up to that length of fast or just jump in? I’ve heard you stop craving food after 3 days. Was that your experience?
First get into ketosis so the first 4-5 days are way easier and you'll have less cravings. Start by eating 0 carbs and preferably practice fasting (OMAD or IF) for about 4-5 days before you start fasting. Then jump in and fast. Every day was easier but sometimes you get mad cravings for food. It's not that bad if you are occupied
>weighing yourself every day

I'm well aware that weight can fluctuate day by day. That's why I have the data entered into a spreadsheet. I can calculate weekly averages and standard deviations, plot those averages on a time series chart, draw a regression line to predict my expected weight loss, and perform an F-test to verify if there's a significant difference between expected weight loss and actual weight lost.

People feel like fucking dying when fasting for the first time ever in their lives because they eat all the fucking time and never ran on fat. I've been on a small feeding window IF for a decade and when I tried fasting for some days it only felt uncomfortable on the beginning. On my second fast I prepared beforehand by consuming zero carbs for three days before and it was smoother.

>doing a cycle of steroids permanently altered my body
Same here. I was always told that you lose everything after you quit using steroids but have found the opposite to be true. I was stuck at 175 lbs for about 5 years. Did 250mg of Test E for 12 weeks and finished weighing 200 lbs. Haven’t used anything in 2 years and now I weigh 205 lbs with the same or less body fat I had when I weighed 175. It’s like gear raised the bar on my natural limit.

Depression, coffee, cigarettes.
Intermittent fasting is suuuuper easy once you get used to it. Most days I can get between 19-20 of fasting.
The problem is that, as with every other form of weightloss, there are diminishing returns. Still, if you do it, you're basically guaranteed to not be fat.
